This extraordinary bath complex was built on the remains of the Domus Aurea, Nero’s Golden house constructed after the great fire of Rome. A part of the Domus Aurea has been recently opened to the public, after many years of renovation, and it is possible to tour around the surviving terraces and fountains and explore the atmospheric underground chambers of this exciting building.

Unlike other central parts of Rome, this neighborhood is well known for is quietness and lots of green spaces. From the apartment a short 5 minute walk will have you in front of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.
