The Canova apartment is situated just a 10 minutes walk from Castel St. Angelo, St. Peter’s Basilica and the astonishing Vatican museums, one of the most beautiful and popular museums in the world. By crossing the nearby bridge over the Tiber river you will shortly reach on foot the incredible Villa Borghese park as well as the nerve of the historical centre of the city, including Piazza del Popolo, The Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and the Spanish Steps.

If you prefer using public transportation, the Lepanto underground station (line A) is just two blocks away from the apartment and provides fast connection to all major historic roman sites and districts. The area is also very well served by buses if you want to enjoy more panoramic journeys. Close to the Canova apartment, there are plenty of nice shops, bars and restaurants.

The Canova apartment is situated in a beautiful 18th Century building, typical of the area, and it was renovated and tastefully decorated in 2007. This elegant apartment is lovingly furnished with quality materials, real antique furniture, precious wooden floors and adorned with paintings and prints.

Located on the first floor of a building with NO elevator, you enter into a beautiful and welcoming living room which includes a comfortable pull-out sofa bed, a timeless marble coffee table, and a warm Persian rug. With its three large windows, it is bathed in light all day long. A sliding wooden panel separates the living room from the bedroom which comes with a queen size bed and a wardrobe with space for all the guest's belongings.

Even though you are in a setting from another time in history, you will find all the regular mod cons that you would expect: satellite TV, DVD, Hi-Fi, etc. The kitchen includes a large dining table and is fully equipped so the guests can prepare any meal should they wish to. The bathroom is simple and elegant in look, and comes with a shower unit as well as a hairdryer. Bed linens, bathroom paper and clean towels are all provided.
