In the heart of Paris!
The Beaubourg apartment is perfectly located on the edge of the Marais, the Halles, and Place de la République neighbourhoods.
In the immediate proximity of subway lines 3 and 11 (Arts et Métiers or Rambuteau stops) and just 500 meters from Beaubourg and the Georges Pompidou Centre, you will be able to visit the historic heart of Paris ... on foot!
A superb architectural refurbishment has gone into this apartment to give it a loft-like allure whilst located on the 3rd floor without elevator access of a traditional Paris building.
The natural ambiance, combined with contemporary décor and modern equipment, makes this accommodation a particularly pleasant place in which to stay.
The entrance opens onto the fully equipped, open plan kitchen fitted with a counter on which you can take your meals.
In the lounge corner you will also find a sofa on which you can relax and make the most of all the modern amenities available to you (LCD TV, wireless Internet access). The sofa can be turned into a comfortable double bed.
The bedroom (separate from the lounge and set up as a master bedroom, but without doors), is furnished with a very soft and cosy double bed (sleeps 2 people).
Lastly, there is a walk-in shower available to you, for those well-deserved relaxing moments after a long, enjoyable Parisian day.
In the tenth century, tourists were not this lucky!
From the thirteenth century what were former marshes located on the outside of the city, in the Marais area, were transformed into damp soil crop fields (hence the name of Marais!).
Annexed to the city in 1360, it meant the start of the famous French style mansions, holiday homes for the kingdom's aristocracy, whose highpoint was the Place des Vosges.
A major restoration project of the buildings that had been the glory of the eighteenth century Marais, now allow visitors to fully enjoy the charms of one of the most visited Paris quarters.
Accessible by subway line 1, stay and discover a now trendy place where fashion designer boutiques, showrooms and art galleries harmoniously coexist with bars and restaurants.
Tale a stroll down Rue des Francs Bourgeois and find out which are the latest Parisian trends in shops that have perfectly managed to fit in in the Marais Middle Ages picture.
A village atmosphere to live and discover ... preferably on foot!
