No need to choose between the right and left bank of the Seine! Saint Germain Charm Apartment's location gives you the chance to explore both easily by foot!
Enjoy the unique atmosphere of this neighbourhood which is traditionally known as a welcome place for artists and writers alike from all over the world.
Just a few minutes stroll will take you to the Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral, the Louvre Museum and the Tuileries gardens.
Finally, the proximity to subway lines 4 and 10 (Mabillon and Saint Germain stops) and RER B line (Saint Michel stop) provides easy access to all Paris destinations, with direct access to Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport and almost direct access to Orly airport.
The apartment:
The apartment is on the 5th floor (no elevator) of a 17th century building in the heart of Saint Germain des Pres.
The contemporary furnishings blend harmoniously with wooden floors and exposed antique beams.
The apartment’s bedroom is cosy, with a trundle bed which unfolds to accommodate 2 guests (160 cm wide).
The living room has a sofa bed (sleeps 2, 160 cm wide) and a table where you can enjoy meals that you can prepare in the fully equipped separate kitchen.
The apartment is remarkably well equipped: air conditioning (something quite rare in Paris!), a large fridge, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, telephone, LCD TV, DVD player and wireless Internet access!
Last but not least, the bathroom is fitted with a superb Jacuzzi tub with vertical jets. Ideal to relax in before enjoying Paris' many pleasures.
Saint Germain
Bohemian neighborhood by default, to live in St. Germain is going for a trendy place most praised by Parisians.
The district has the aura of literary cafes (Café Flore, Le Procope, Les 2 Magots), very popular in the last century among intellectuals and artists such as Picasso or Sartre.
You must also visit the art galleries, and no need to mention the lively flea market at Place Saint Sulpice.
Worn out by the dynamic city rhythm? Take a relaxing break in the Luxembourg Palace gardens built for Marie de Medicis in the early 17th century.
St. Germain: a taste of very Parisian lifestyle!
