The Vegetal VIII Apartment is ideally located on the border between the Marais, les Halles and Place de la République areas.
Right next to metro lines 3 and 11 (Arts and Métiers station) and just 300 metres from Beaubourg and the Georges Pompidou Centre, you will be able to visit the historical heart of Paris on foot!
You can also enjoy the Canal Saint Martin area, very popular with cool Parisians for its many restaurants and cafés.
What’s more, with the Place de la République metro station just 500 metres away (lines 3, 8, 9 and 11), all of the other unmissable Paris sights are within easy reach.
This superbly renovated apartment is on the ground floor of a magnificent, fully renovated, traditional building.
From the moment you enter the secure interior courtyard of the building, you’ll be amazed by the leafy ambience which pervades the space. A truly peaceful natural haven in the heart of the city.
The apartment smoothly blends contemporary furniture with the earthy feel of the exposed stone walls.
The living area is complete with a bed (sleeps two, 140cm) from which you can enjoy all modern comforts.
The adjoining open plan kitchen is fully equipped, allowing you to prepare your favourite dishes, to be served on the dining table, intended just for that purpose.
Unless you decide to take advantage of the terrace and its idyllic setting to eat instead!
Finally, after a relaxing shower, you can enjoy a great night’s sleep, dreaming about the wonders of Paris.
In the tenth century, tourists were not this lucky!
From the thirteenth century what were former marshes located on the outside of the city, in the Marais area, were transformed into damp soil crop fields (hence the name of Marais!).
Annexed to the city in 1360, it meant the start of the famous French style mansions, holiday homes for the kingdom's aristocracy, whose highpoint was the Place des Vosges.
A major restoration project of the buildings that had been the glory of the eighteenth century Marais, now allow visitors to fully enjoy the charms of one of the most visited Paris quarters.
Accessible by subway line 1, stay and discover a now trendy place where fashion designer boutiques, showrooms and art galleries harmoniously coexist with bars and restaurants.
Tale a stroll down Rue des Francs Bourgeois and find out which are the latest Parisian trends in shops that have perfectly managed to fit in in the Marais Middle Ages picture.
A village atmosphere to live and discover ... preferably on foot!
