The apartment:
The Le Louvre apartment looks onto an inner court and is located on the 2nd floor (with elevator) of a superb 19th century building that has been completely redone.
Once across the magnificent entrance hall, you shall feel immediately seduced by the peace and quiet that can be felt all around your living quarters.
Inside, traditional Haussmanian charm has been preserved and combined with very modern furniture.
This harmonious blend manages to create a cozy and refined atmosphere.
The living room has a superb sofa bed (Queen size, sleeps two) where you will be able to lay back and enjoy the state of the art flat screen TV or surf the net thanks to the wireless internet connection placed at your entire disposal. The American style kitchen found next to the living room is completely equipped and will allow you to put your cooking skills to the test on some French cuisine.
In front of the living room is the bedroom, with a Queen size bed (160 cm) for your utmost comfort. You will also be able to enjoy an LCD TV placed in this room.
Lastly, the bathroom has been cleverly placed at the other end of the apartment and is equipped with a superb Italian shower, perfect for a tonic wake-up right before going out to a great day of sightseeing.

Stay and experience French history!
The 1st District is above all epic royal history. Each building is a marvel of classical architecture. The Tuileries neighborhood, distinguished by the dominant and immense Palais du Louvre, turned one of the largest museums in the world, is simply a must.
Shopping is also honored by luxury stores such as the boutiques at Place Vendôme or the collector's market, Avenue de Marigny. Or you may prefer to shop at the Forum des Halles mall or the Carrousel du Louvre.
Exhausted by the weight of the centuries (as well as souvenirs and gifts!), take a minute for a romantic halt at the marvelous gardens of the Tuileries or those of the Palais Royal ... unless you prefer to succumb to the zen ambiance and sashimi dishes of one of the many Japanese restaurants on the Rue St. Anne.
That goes to show how French tradition and international cuisine can get along well together!

I loved everything about this apartment. The location was perfect. We were within a quick walk of at least three metros and our street was on a main bus line. The apartment was incredibly quiet and clean. It was stocked well with cute details, down to the egg holders. The bathroom was beautiful and the shower was wonderful. I loved that the toilet was in a separate little room next to the bathroom. We used both the main bed and the sofa pull out bed. Both mattresses and linens were very comfortable. The owners were very refined and sweet and quiet helpful. They keep informational books in the apartment for you and all of their recommendations that we followed were great. I miss the apartment already. When I return to Paris, I will definitely rent this apartment again.

Exceptionally nice and helpful lady as an owner of the property, which is in prime location in Paris. Very high standard of cleanness and calmness despite the four buses passing in front of the building, which is actually very convinient and more scenic way of travelling around Paris than the metro (one to Montmartre, one to Hotel de Ville, one to Jardin de Luxembourg and the last one to Gare Saint-Lazare. At the same time several metro stops nearby and RER A and B station in Les Halles 5-10 min on foot. But actually Le Louvre, Notre-Dame, Consiergerie, Sainte-Chapelle, Centre Pompidou, Jardin des Tuileries, Place de la Concorde, L'Orangerie, D'Orsay, Place Vendome and Opera Garnier are all in easy and pleasant walking distance from this appartment.
Our short stay of 4 nights only.

Location, Location... and the very gracious, kind, prompt and helpful hosts are the 2 best things about this apartment. Louise (the landlady) had reached out to us 4 weeks prior and was very flexible to our arrival (late at 10pm). The apartment is very safe, lots of instructions (safety, restaurants, travel plans) and is equipped well (washer, Wi-Fi, 2 TVs, kitchen (small)) and comfortable for family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens). Finally, we chose this (as we have been to Paris before) for the location. And we weren't disappointed. The apartment is 10mins to the Louvre, Opera House, Gallery Lafeyette shopping district, 4 mins to a metro and several Michelin star restaurants in the proximity. Don't miss out having breakfast/brunch at Angelina's on Rue de Rivoli -223. Best desserts in Paris. Highly highly recommend this place

Faboulous location (close to everything). Attention to detail (the crib had nice linens and they even had a stuffed animal on it!). They had basic kitchen stuff: salt, pepper, tea, coffe, bottled water, even wine! Also, the apartment was super clean. Louise and her husband were very flexible allowing us to check out late, and vere also service oriented recommending restaurants and grocery shops.

Situation trés centrale, un quartier trés vivant et de tres bonnes addresses autour(réstos, boutiques,boulangeries...). Literie confortable est spacieuse,hygiene parfaite,linge de toilette et sortie de bain tres agréables(odeure du linge trés plaisante!!!). Une petite cours dans l'immeuble permet de stocker les pousettes( pratique!!!). Enfin,les proprietaires des lieux sont des personnes trés charmantes, nous avons l'intention d'y séjourner de nouveau l'année prochaine. Ce lieu est vraiment adapté au familles avec efants(les notres avaient 3ans et 3 mois).
