Mallorca Guide - Shopping

Palma city offers a great variety of interesting shops, markets and boutiques. The majority of them can be found around the Ramblas and the Avenguda Jaume III. The latter being the place to find luxury, designer and big-name brands. You also have the whole Old Town and the Plaza Mayor to stroll through and discover the antique shops and small boutiques.

The morning market, Mercat Olivar on Plaça Olivar (see below), is the best place for fresh produce. Also look out for traditional Mallorquian shops: Artesanies Pol, Carrer de L'Unió 13 for ceramics; Casa del Olivo, Carrer Pesateria Vella 4 for olive-wood products; Majorica, Avinguda Jaume III 11 for cultured perals; and Vidrerías Gordiola, Carrer de la Victoria 2 for glassware.
