The Ca's Papu Villa in Mallorca for rent

This beautiful villa is just off the road leading from Valledemossa to Deia, a short walk from the mountainous and picturesque village of Valldemossa. It has a private swimming pool set in well-kept gardens with a large enclosed rustic area with fruit and olive trees. The privately owned villa sleeps up to 8 people and has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, 3 bathrooms within the villa and one by the pool.

The main dining room has a dining table set for 8, sofas to relax in and leads onto the conservatory which overlooks the gardens. There is a fully equipped fitted kitchen which leads onto a second dining room and fireplace with a cast iron log burner. The spacious garage doubles as a laundry room, storage room and there is a second oven and barbeque here as well.

The villa is centred around the lounge and hallway, the kitchen is to the left the bedrooms to the right. There are 4 bedrooms in total, all running off a sunlit corridor, with doors leading directly to the garden. Two bedrooms with double beds and the other two with twin singles. Two of the bathrooms have full size baths and the 3rd interior bathroom has a Mallorcan bath (a half size bath tub). The 4th bathroom is new and is mainly used as a shower room for the pool area.

The gardens have a selection of fruit trees, olive trees, flowers, vegetables and other shrubs, all of which are cared for by the gardener who visits regularly. He also takes care of the pool to make sure the chemicals are kept to the correct levels.

There is plenty of parking in front of the house and a large awning has recently been built to provide shelter from the sun. Alongside the pool you will find an outdoor kitchen to help with those afternoon barbeques. There are numerous sunbeds and garden chairs throughout the grounds, ideal for watching the sun set behind the Tramuntana Mountains.

Chopin once referred to Valldemossa as ‘the most beautiful village in the world’. This comes as no surprise as it is the home of the 14th century Palace of King Sance and the frescoed monastery where Chopin and George Sands stayed. The local restaurants will tempt you with a variety of food to suit all tastes and budgets. The old square, steeped in culture, has a museum devoted to Chopin.

This is a lovely villa and the picturesque surroundings would make a holiday here a very pleasant experience!
