The Van der Rohe building is located right in the heart of Malaga, which makes it the perfect spot from which to visit the city. This emblematic building, recently refurbished, with elevator access, where you will find this new group of apartments and lofts, is right in the centre of Malaga. Very close to calle Larios, the most legendary street in the centre, it is just 20 minutes walk to the closest Malaga beaches. A sure choice!
The Apartment
The Van der Rohe Penthouse apartment is a bright and peaceful space, located in a refurbished building in one of the best areas within the historic centre. It is on the fourth floor, with elevator access. The living/dining-room is comfortable, with a double sofa bed, and a dining table for your meals and dinners. The open-plan kitchen is completely equipped. The bedroom has a double bed and a wardrobe for your utmost comfort. The bathroom is fitted with a shower.
A spiral staircase leads to the terrace on the first floor, which is furnished with a small teak wooden table and a shower to cool off in during those hot summer days in Malaga.

The Alcazaba (s. VIII-XI) is not only one of the symbols of the city, it is also one of the largest Arab fortress in Andalusia. Inside this building is located the Archaeological Museum, which contains valuable pieces of Phoenician and Roman times.
From the castle of Gibralfaro (XIV century), joined with the Alcazaba, you get the best views of the city, which opens out to the sea with the port and the promenade of La Farola, one of the main leisure areas in the city. At the foot of Gibralfaro castle extends the Teatro Romano, the Plaza de Toros (known as the Malagueta) and the historic quarter of the city.
In the center stands the Cathedral (XVI-XVIII), also known as "the Manquita" for its unfinished right tower. This temple,with a beautiful Renaissance style, has an interesting series of chapels that contain good examples of Andalusian images.
Malaga offers countless historical sites and typical spots like the Plaza de la Merced, chaired by the Monument to Torrijos and where is located the house where Pablo Ruiz Picasso was born. The tour through the old quarter has to include the busy Chinitas Passage, Granada Street, with the Museum of Fine Arts, or Larios Street, the main artery of the Old Town.
