The area sourrounding the apartment:

In the heart of Conde Duque area, named alter an old quarter which nowadays holds one of the most important Contemporary Art Cultural Centres where exhibitions, concerts and theatre plays take place, located only two blocks away from the apartment.
This area is well known for its typical plazas, such as the Descalzas and Comendadoras, full of bars whose terraces offer privileged corners –due to their bohemian and calm atmosphere- where to relax and enjoy some beers with tapas. Surprisingly this neighbourhood is next to the most lively areas in the city but it still maintains its tranquillity, which makes it one the most wanted zones in Madrid.
Living at Conde Duque it takes not more than ten minutes to get to the Gran Vía –main Avenue and heart of the city-, or reach the Plaza España –where you can find, besides many cinemas ¡with original versions!, exotic restaurants for all tastes-, and the famous Plaza Dos de Mayo in Malasaña, Mecca of Madrid´s bohemian and alternative nightlife.

The apartment:

It is a loft type attic, with a rustic style which makes it a very cosy place to stay at, and even more special due to its window which shows a great view over the city.4th floor without elevator.
Three people can be really comfortable in this 30 m2 studio that has a double bed in the room which is semi separated from the main room, where there also is an individual sofa bed.
The kitchen is fully equipped and very modern, separated by a table.
Goethe is a practical, comfortable and cosy apartment which will make you fell at home … but being on vacation!
