The Shelley Apartment in Madrid

The Area Surrounding:

The Shelley apartment is wonderfully located at the heart of Madrid. Really close to Gran Vía, one of the city’s trademark streets, featuring lots of shops, restaurants, theatres and, definitively, all types of interesting places for those who wants to explore the most lively side of the city. It is also a key point for its important touristic places. Here we’ll find the Royal Palace, the Almudena Cathedral or the Sabatini Gardens, just a few meters off some of the most elegant cafés of the city, at the same Plaza de Oriente. And for the opera lovers, also at the same Plaza de Oriente, the Royal Theatre.
In this same area we can find Debod's Temple, an impressive monument granted by Egypt to Spain as a sign of gratitude for the latter’s collaboration in the construction of the Asuan’s dam. The vistas from the park where the temple is situated are spectacular, making it possible to encompass the greatest part of the city.
And if you wish to taste the famous “tapas” or any tipical dish of Madrid, a great idea will be to visit one of the most emblematic and charming squares: the Plaza Mayor.

The Apartment:

This very spacious and luminous apartment -with natural light in all its rooms- has been decorated mixing the most traditional and modern styles, giving special attention to wood and pastel shades.

The big dimensioned lounge, is divided in two environments: a resting area presided by a friendly chimney surrounded by several and comfortable armchairs and dining area, with a large table and six chairs.

Three bedrooms, two with double beds and another colorful, youthful one with double bed plus two bunk beds, placed in the top part of the room, to which one accedes across a graceful wooden stair.

The spacious kitchen, has been decorated in white shades and is equipped with all the necessary domestic appliances in order to ease your stay: refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave … besides the small habitual domestic appliances.

Two bathrooms: the widest set in white and blue shades, complete with bath, wc … as well as all the necessary comforts and other one, of smaller dimensions but equally comfortablly, with a shower.

All these qualities make this apartment the ideal place, that one where the groups of friends and the families in vacation trips will find the warmest reception.
