The apartment is located in the Madrid of the Austrias (in the very historical centre), three hundred meters away from Puerta del sol (our km 0)

Two minutes walk from the emblematic Plaza mayor, meeting point for locals and visitors, as well as the stage of a multitude of artistic and popular events.

The Latina is close to “el Rastro”, the most famous flea market in Spain, and next to the “cava alta” and “cava baja” streets, indispensable for tasting our authentic best meals and wines, tapas included. Simply the perfect location for top gastronomy

Besides this, the apartment is surrounded by most of the museums ,theatres, cinemas, all emblematic monuments -the royal palace is barely five minutes walking- and settings where it is possible to easily enjoy Madrid’s rich culture.

This area is considered the most beautiful, it is centrally situated, surrounded by monuments and full of traditional flavour. The authentic atmosphere at anytime will allow you to fully enjoy your visit.

In spite of being located in this very lively area, the apartment Latina IX enjoys much tranquillity, with bird song and fantastic sunsets, due to its placement in the top-back side of the building, a XVII century magnificent reformed palace.



The Apartment .

Latina is a fantastic duplex, located in an historical protected building which used to be a palace convent transformed on luxury apartments and recently reformed with an entrance and big stairs that will undoubtly impress the visitor..

The Apartment, with a nice living room all togther with the kitchen, a very nice bath room with all the utilities for the family cleaning (waser,dishwasher, iron...) and a small single room down stairs with the originals door from the convent conecting to the stairs, in which we have an enormous wardrobe to tidy up all our lugage..

On the second floor there is big bathroom divided in two (Wc & Shower) and two spacious bedrooms contented to a greast terrace from which we can admire San Isidro`s Church dome and alll the great view from this part of the city..
