Situated right in Plaza Mayor Madrid, an emblematic location that represents the city and is without doubt one of the first touristic points of interest and an obligatory stop for any visitor. The Plaza Mayor apartment is in the La Latina district which is one of the most antique and authentic neighborhoods of Madrid. Plaza Mayor is an enormous square bordered by fantastic archways where you can find some of the oldest shops mixed with the most typical and classical restaurants of the city serving the best traditional Spanish cuisine. Very typical in one of the many restaurants is to have a ´bocata de calamares (Calamari sandwich) ` with a ´caña bien fria` (nice cold drink) ` and observe the many people who stop by.

Plaza Mayor is also a hub for cultural events that take place in the city, very often there are concerts, food tastings, and other festive events in the center of the Plaza. Especially noteworthy is the traditional Christmas market held in the Plaza itself. In the time coming up to Christmas the Plaza is filled with many stalls selling Christmas items, trees and joke products, creating a very lively atmosphere.

Around the Plaza there are thousands of small alleys and small corners that will take you to the lavish monuments that have to be visited in just walking distance: the Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol, Plaza de Santa Ana ... ... ... ... ....

It is one of the most exclusive locations and has a style that ensures that all guests will enjoy the apartment to the absolute maximum. The apartment has maintained its original rustic design and structure from its first construction. There is also an amazing terrace, with lots of plants and with the best views of Madrid in every direction.

With 82 meters of interior apartment space and 28 meters of terrace, the apartment is suitably large enough to accommodate a capacity of up to 6 people. There is a double bedroom with a private balcony with views over the plaza. There is also another open space that has been converted into a double bedroom. Please note that this room doesn’t have complete privacy. And for the 4th and 5th guests there are 2 comfortable single sofa beds in the lounge area. In addition to all of this, the house has a nice kitchen with a view of the street below. It also has a bathroom with gorgeous views that are particularly magical to see at night whilst relaxing in a hot bath and looking out at the lights of Madrid.

The charm of this apartment lies not only in its style and quality, but in many cases the materials and reformed vintage accessories: taps, doors, blinds, floor, handles, furniture, etc ... and also in its distribution and size, making it a fun and inviting place.

You could say the apartment has three floors. On the 1st floor guests will find the independent double bedroom, the lounge room, complete bathroom with an original rock basin and the kitchen with all modern cooking essentials. All of this is separated by an enormously beautiful chimney that is a decorative addition and not functional. From this level a set of stairs access the 2nd floor where there is the open style double bedroom with study table and amazing views of the Madrid skyline, ´especially recommended for sunsets.` Finally a third level where guests will find the terrace - luxurious, impressive, UNFORGETTABLE.

The apartment has air conditioning for the summer and modern comforts to enjoy your vacation - dishwasher, plasma TV, DVD, ceramic kitchen, etc...
