Area Surrounding the Apartment;

In the heart of Chueca , one of the most lively and cosmopolitan areas of Madrid . The visitor can enjoy all the things this one of a kind neighborhood has to offer : chic cafes , exclusive boutiques, amazing shops and of course, an intense night life!
Within walking distance you can also see one of the most important city symbols : Puerta de Alcalá, a magnificent monument in the Independence Square, close to the city center . A few meters away, you will see the Retiro, a 1.4 km2 park, which houses wonderful areas, such as a large artificial lake, called El Estanque del Retiro , and a glass pavilion : the Palacio de Cristal.

Apartment Description;

Luxurious, up-market, stylish, lavish are only a handful of many possible terms to describe this phenomenal apartment.
The spacious first floor incorporates an open-plan kitchen, dining, lounge room and bathroom. Upon entering the apartment you walk straight into the living area, illuminated immensely with floor to ceiling French doors and bright down-lights. There is a 4 place dining table, next to the brand new white sofa bed and arm chair, along with plasma television and DVD.
A mix of fresh white and warm red coloring is continued from the living area through to the kitchen which is fully equipped with all modern appliances including range hood oven and stove top fitted in stainless steel. There is also a serving bar that divides the kitchen slightly and is fantastic for entertaining guests. The guest bathroom, with shower, is also just off the living room along with a three seat sofa to chill out and read a book.
Going up the soft-wood varnished stair case, enclosed by clear glass panels, is the main bedroom. Attic in style, with a sloping roof and sky light windows, the bedroom is filled with natural light and with the windows opening completely it is well ventilated. A king size bed takes up a small section of this large attic, plus a white leather recliner positioned directly below the sun light.
Also on the 2nd floor is the en-suite bathroom with shower and full wall size mirror. Dark mahogany wooden wall fittings and twin ceramic basins add to the excellence with minimal but quality decorations.
The entire apartment has touches of tasteful furnishings, filling open spaces with charm and style. There are wall openings, architecturally designed and adorned with small details that put the Salesas apartment at the top of high class living.

Chueca

The area of Chueca is located in the city centre. It belongs to the District of justice, one of the most quoted of the moment. Its attractiveness is due to a multitude of qualities like having the variety of leisure activities and the more diverse and modern services of the city.
Chueca is the kind of neighbourhood perfect for strolling and stumbling upon attractive establishments. Its most attractive point is the “Plaza de Chueca” (Chueca square) by which receives the name, and Chueca metro station on the centre of the square. Taste the forward-thinking, fusion cuisine of New York-style cafes along calles Libertad and San Marcos (Cafe Diurno & Bazaar are two stand-outs). Calle Fuencarral is a cool area for shopping, with the hippest shops: Diesel, Puma, Adidas, Hoss; and calle Augusto Figueroa for top brands occasion shoes. In the calles Almirante and Prim, one can find some of Madrid's most chic fashion and shoe shops.
 
You can find plenty of shops with the most modern and special.
Visiting the famous Fuencarral Market, that gives life and character to this shopping area, and where the best brands living next to creations of young designers, a place with a young and cheerful atmosphere.
Its location is perfect for walking access to the most attractive points of the city, just 5 minutes from Gran Via the ornate and upscale shopping street and Puerta del Sol (Spanish for "Gate of the Sun") is one of the most well known and busiest places in Madrid.

Ten minutes from the Prado museum and the Thyssen Bornemitza museum, two of the most important art galleries in the world.
Another good option is to stay in the neighbourhood where people enjoy their sunny days by taking the snack (Tapas) in the innumerable outdoor terraces.
This neighbourhood shows its splendor during the month of June, when it celebrate the “Gay Pride festival” that has become a social event of great significance in Madrid, not only for gays if not for all the"modern" people. At the Gay Pride parade giant floats pass by the most important streets of Madrid -Alcala, Gran Via, with music and filled with people dancing in fancy dress.
