Located on the top floor of a new building, over the famous Marquina theatre, and right behind the Café Gijon, a meeting point for intellectuals and an institution in Madrid.
A few short steps away from the lively Gran Vía and Plaza de Cibeles, the apartment is within walking distance of the city’s main tourist sights such as the Prado, Reina Sofía and Thyssen Bornemisza Museums, the Opera House, the Royal Palace and the Retiro Park.
Approximately a 10-minute walk from the apartment is Puerta del Sol (the epicentre of Spain, also known as Km.0), where tourists and natives congregate to meet, shop, eat, drink and experience the vibrance of this busy city centre. Also very close is the Plaza Mayor, full of history and lively outdoor cafes.
Also in this area you will find the Chueca neighbourhood, one of Madrid's trendiest and liveliest areas, with lots of bars and fashion restaurants, and close by are Fuencarral, Hortaleza, Augusto Figueroa and Almirante streets where you will find some of the most interesting shops in Madrid.

Light floorboards throughout and floor to ceiling windows allow the sunshine to flood through and illuminate the clear beige and white tones of this apartment.
The living room has a comfortable double sofa bed and armchair. If you want to spend an evening in, the apartment comes equipped with TV and DVD player. The dining room has a table with 4 chairs, but 2 extra chairs are available for the fifth and sixth guests.
The white tiled kitchen is fully equipped, spacious and the perfect place for cooking delicious meals.
There are 2 bedrooms, the first with a double sofa bed, large windows and colorful paintings. The second one has a double bed, cupboards and shelves to store clothes and also an additional wall mounted TV.
New granite tiled bathrooms will accommodate all guests during their stay with bathtubs, toilet, shower and a hydromassage system in the main bathroom. For guests that enjoy an outdoor area, there is a spacious terrace to enjoy the summer.

The area of Chueca is located in the city centre. It belongs to the District of justice, one of the most quoted of the moment. Its attractiveness is due to a multitude of qualities like having the variety of leisure activities and the more diverse and modern services of the city.
Chueca is the kind of neighbourhood perfect for strolling and stumbling upon attractive establishments. Its most attractive point is the “Plaza de Chueca” (Chueca square) by which receives the name, and Chueca metro station on the centre of the square. Taste the forward-thinking, fusion cuisine of New York-style cafes along calles Libertad and San Marcos (Cafe Diurno & Bazaar are two stand-outs). Calle Fuencarral is a cool area for shopping, with the hippest shops: Diesel, Puma, Adidas, Hoss; and calle Augusto Figueroa for top brands occasion shoes. In the calles Almirante and Prim, one can find some of Madrid's most chic fashion and shoe shops.

Its location is perfect for walking access to the most attractive points of the city, just 5 minutes from Gran Via the ornate and upscale shopping street and Puerta del Sol (Spanish for "Gate of the Sun") is one of the most well known and busiest places in Madrid.
Ten minutes from the Prado museum and the Thyssen Bornemitza museum, two of the most important art galleries in the world.
Another good option is to stay in the neighbourhood where people enjoy their sunny days by taking the snack (Tapas) in the innumerable outdoor terraces.
This neighbourhood shows its splendor during the month of June, when it celebrate the “Gay Pride festival” that has become a social event of great significance in Madrid, not only for gays if not for all the"modern" people.
