The area surrounding the apartment:

We do not need to say much more about this spot, which we refer to as the “0” km of the capital, from where we start counting the km of all the national highways. The absolute center of the city and the country, known as Puerta del Sol, a Spanish landmark with a historical and traditional background within meters of the apartment, in an equally emblematic street, which goes from Sol to Opera and the Royal Theatre. The area is full of stores that combine tradition and tourism, an area filled with bars and restaurants.
The apartment is within 5 minutes walking distance from the ‘must see’ places such as the Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace and the Oriente Gardens, ideal to enjoy a leisurely walk as the area is so beautiful, or have a drink in one of the many terraces in Opera and it's surroundings.
Public transport takes you quickly around the city with a metro station 100 meters away and many bus stops also nearby.

The apartment

Located on the fifth floor, this 100m2 attic has a capacity for 6 people, two double bedrooms and a bathroom with bathtub, a big living room with a double sofa bed. Both bedrooms are independent and have queen size beds. Soft colors have been used for the walls, creating a cozy and relaxing environment. The living room is spacious enough to allow to have its own independent area from the rest of the room, where there is a big and beautiful picture of the Eiffel Tower .In front, there is a dining room table set for 6 people and on the other side, another comfortable sofa good for resting and watching TV.
The wooden floorboards give the apartment a warm atmosphere, and as special detail there is a gorgeous chimney, a replica of an antique model. As an anecdotal note for children’s literature lovers, this building houses the origin of a famous story: El Ratoncito Perez(a mouse version of the tooth fairy).
