The apartment is located on the first floor of an elegant Victorian building near bustling Old Brompton and Fulham road. This sought-after address offers close proximity to a wealth of shops, bars and restaurants surrounding South Kensington, while the green open spaces of Hyde Park are also moments away. The apartment is also within walking distance to many tourist attractions like the most famous museums, Harrods and Sloane Street.

The nearest underground station is South Kensington (100mt with Circle, District and Piccadilly lines).

The apartment:

Located on the first floor of a charming white stucco building, this superb apartment has been recently renovated and designed to the highest specifications. It has wonderful features such as the naked brick walls, hardwood floors, unique furniture and high ceilings throughout, giving a feeling of space and light. The general style of the interior is luxurious with great attention to details and in particular with some innovative solutions to increase the overall comfort of the apartment.

As soon as you enter the apartment, you will feel drawn into the superbly appointed living room. The combination of the brick wall with the modern design pieces creates an extremely warm and pleasant atmosphere. In this lounge area you will find a large comfy sofa and two armchairs as well as numerous paintings, a flat screen TV and DVD player. The living room opens up onto a small but nice balcony for a sunny outdoor breakfast or a drink al fresco. It is really a pleasure to relax in this sophisticated yet comfortable area after a hard day of sightseeing and shopping…The dining area can accommodate a party of 6 people and the semi-open kitchen, separated by a discrete brick wall, is fully equipped with anything needed to prepare some romantic meals. The 3rd and 4th guests can comfortably sleep in the sofa bed or in two single bed which can be pulled out from the custom made library.

Finally, from the living room a small hallway will lead to you to the master bedroom which accommodates a double bed and a wide built-in wardrobe to store guests’ belongings. This quiet room overlooks an inside courtyard so a great nights sleep will be guaranteed. Finally, the beautifully designed bathroom comes with a bath/shower unit as well as a hairdryer. Bed linens and fresh towels are all provided.

South Kensington

Between Kensington High Street and Cromwell road rest South Kensington, a distinctively elegant part of the capital. It is a museum mile with the triumvirate of world famous (and free) museums: the V&A, the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum (with a beautiful ice rink between November and January). The surrounding area is now one of the most fashionable in town. Besides the aristocratic mansions and the presence of royalty in Kensington Palace, the village of Kensington contains in its quieter backstreet some hidden gems to be discovered like Holland Park and Leighton House, the perfect Victorian artist’s pad. Besides the Whole Foods Market store, which represents a temple of organica, Kensington Church Street provides a taste of more traditional Kensington with its selection of pricier boutique and antique shops.
