Nestling at the back of a building, this small wooden 18th century house welcomes guests with an interior design from times past. Antique ceramic tiles on the floor, antique embroidery and linen and chiné fabric lamps create a composition of a cream and beige cameo setting. The Apartment
It's a cosy two floor house. On the garden level, there is the living/dining room, essentially furnished with antique family furniture, and also two bedrooms. One with two single beds and a bathroom, and the other with a double bed. The plasma TV and DVD player will be the only modern elements you'll come across. An equipped kitchen offers you all the kitchen utensils you could need to prepare your meals, which you will be able to enjoy outdoors when weather permits. A lovely wooden staircase takes you upstairs. There, you'll find a bright and sunny bedroom, in the same light colour palette as the floor below, which leads onto a magnificent terrace where you are able to sunbathe at leisure. The bedroom has a large double bed and a full bathroom. Next, there is a small room where a child can sleep. Lastly, to round off this truly cosy atmosphere, take a seat in the tidy garden or below the terrace eaves and let yourself slide away.
The Chalet Lapa awaits you for an unforgettable stay close to the Estrela garden, and from where you can hop on tram 28 to take on the steep and winding city streets.

Lapa
If you want to have a feel of the Lisbon life choose this neighbourhood located on hills overlooking the city and the Tagus river. The famous old stylish tramways n°28 or 25 go across this zone. From those streets going down towards the river, you’ll have some of the best scenic views. Enjoy the calm of the residential area of Lapa with its elegant “Palacetes”, often occupied by embassies. But you are at a walking distance of Santos and Alcantara, other nightlife sectors of the capital. The Estrela basilica is hundred meters away, so are many other monuments to visit like Museu da Arte Antiga or the São Bento Parliament house. In the Lapa street, you will find restaurants, cafes and typical portuguese shops.
