By staying in the Amorinos, a cosy apartment which remains preserved in its rural character, you'll enjoy both the Bairro Alto's lively night-life as well as peace and quiet thanks to its location. From here you can easily reach the Principe Real garden or that of Praça das Flores in less than 5 minutes, and likewise you can go for a night trip around the lively streets of Bairro when evening falls over Lisbon.

The Apartment



Once across a rather narrow entrance door, the first impression of the hallway somewhat betrays the wonderful apartment above. However, ascend a steep flight of stairs and you will find the incredible Amorinos apartment, which occupies the 1st floor of an historic building in the Principe Real district. The Amorinos apartment overflows with charm, in a very Portuguese countryside style, with some pieces of furniture that come straight from the craftmakers of our villages, such as a beautiful cupboard, old chairs and an antique table. The owner has taken great delight in making the décor more contemporary by dressing the rooms with green satin cushions delicately positioned, similarly coloured blankets, and chandeliers, even in the bathroom, where the sink has been carefully fitted into the old fireplace surround.
The Amorinos has a very quiet bedroom, a bathroom and an "old style" kitchen with everything you may need to prepare your meals. You also have a cable TV set.
The captivating Amorinos is the perfect accommodation for a tranquil getaway to the city of seven hills!

Principe Real

Principe Real, the historical heart of the city; if you want to have a feel of the Lisbon life with everything at walking distance, choose Principe Real neighbourhood. This area is ideally located on the top of a hill which Lisbon is so famous for, with superb views of the city and the Tagus river. Principe Real is well-known for its delicious garden with exotic and rare trees, but also a café under the branches of a giant tree next to a bio market every Saturday morning. You are a couple of streets away from Bairro Alto where you’ll find hundreds of restaurants and bars at night. If you pass by the São Pedro de Alcantara viewpoint, you can also reach easily the shopping areas of Chiado or Rossio by street elevator. If you go down the other way, you’ll discover typical old streets leading to São Bento Parliament House where you find any type of restaurants and typical Portuguese antiques shops. In this neighbourhood, many restaurants, concept stores, chic boutiques and antiques shops will delight you.

    Very convenient location. We could easily go to downtown area by walk. On the other hand the place was very quiet unexpectedly. Tabale wares and cooking tools are equipped very well, and super market (Minipreço) was in close, so we could enjoy the cooking very well. Finally, the interior was a nice taste and having a wonderful atomosphere of old building.    Susumu, Japan 30 November 2011
