The Pateo Alfama 6 is a duplex, approximately 35m2, cocooning the patio, with a living/dining room and a practical open plan kitchen and with direct access to the patio. There is also cable TV. Upstairs is the bedroom with a double bed, in soft colours and soothing decór. The bathroom was designed in a very modern style with contemporary style bathroom fittings.
Perfect for two guests, but able to accommodate up to three members of one family by using the sofa bed in the living room, this compact apartment will be your haven of peace in central Lisbon.

Alfama

If you come to Lisbon, you cannot miss Alfama, one of the most picturesque and historical medieval neighborhood, a mesh of small tiny streets, cul-de-sacs and stone stairs. Here lives a mixed population, people of all ages, “true” lisboners or lost tourists come to visit or to listen Fado. Like in many other places in Lisbon, you’ll find here also some of the most spectacular viewpoints of the Tagus river and the city. Here you can still find various forms of traditional commerce, as well as nice quaint little restaurants and bars. From the apartment you can walk to the majority of the most popular sightseeing destinations, such as the “Castelo de S. Jorge” the “Sé” or the “Baixa Pombalina”. For transportation, walk, or go down to Santa Apolónia the main train station and its recently opened metro station, or use the popular tram n°28 that zigzags through Alfama and pursues its trip up and down the hills of Lisbon. Although of restricted access by car, there are several parking facilities nearby.

    The apartment is in a wonderful site with a great view and an interesting location.
    The equipment (cutlery, glassware etc) was rather basic - we donated a new corkscrew. This was not a major issue for us, but could be for people who wanted to cook meals in the apartment.     Michael, United Kingdom 16 September 2011
