A joyful alliance of gray and red and wonderful views over the city
The Adelas apartment has all the comfort needed for a dream holiday in a three room apartment overlooking the Tagus and the center of Lisbon. You will enjoy an ideal location, a few steps away from the Bairro Alto and the Chiado districts, top spots for nightlife and commerce, but also close to the das Flores Square with its many restaurants and the bucolic Principe Real garden.
The apartment :
This typical late 19th century building, entirely renovated, still has its original wooden staircase that lead you to the 3rd floor (no elevator), where the Adelas apartment is located.
For Laurence, the cheery hostess, this apartment had to be elegant, bright and above all easy to live in. With a preference to soft tones of pearly-gray, a darker gray, and a brighter red, which act as a symbolic link from one room to another, she chose some of the most contemporary furniture for a highly refined ambiance.
Adorned with a beautiful steel gray color sofa, the lounge/dining room is very comfortable, and comes with an LCD TV and a dining table for four. The separate kitchen is fully equipped and will allow you to take your meals while enjoying a splendid view over the city and the Tagus.
Open to daylight and onto the rooftops of the city, the bedroom, with a large double bed and wardrobes, is all simplicity.
A smaller bedroom with two single beds, located next to the lounge, overlooks a very quiet street.
The bathroom, also in a beckoning red, has a bath and is located just opposite the main bedroom.
In the apartment there are also electric heaters for the winter period when temperatures are however still very mild.
To stay in Lisbon, in such an ideally located apartment and with a beautiful view, is all that you could wish for.

Principe Real
Principe Real, the historical heart of the city; if you want to have a feel of the Lisbon life with everything at walking distance, choose Principe Real neighbourhood. This area is ideally located on the top of a hill which Lisbon is so famous for, with superb views of the city and the Tagus river. Principe Real is well-known for its delicious garden with exotic and rare trees, but also a café under the branches of a giant tree next to a bio market every Saturday morning. You are a couple of streets away from Bairro Alto where you’ll find hundreds of restaurants and bars at night. If you pass by the São Pedro de Alcantara viewpoint, you can also reach easily the shopping areas of Chiado or Rossio by street elevator. If you go down the other way, you’ll discover typical old streets leading to São Bento Parliament House where you find any type of restaurants and typical Portuguese antiques shops. In this neighbourhood, many restaurants, concept stores, chic boutiques and antiques shops will delight you.

The apartment was so clean and so well designed. The views from the bedroom and kitchen were fabulous. I also liked the location, the apartment was close to all the action but far enough away that it wasn't noisy at night! A perfect stay in Lisbon.
