The apartment :
Located in a popular neighbourhood of old Lisbon, near a metro station, this lovely spacious apartment has been decorated with finesse and elegance. Here and there, distinctively Portuguese decor is featured, such as wool rugs from the Alentejo countryside or ceramics on one section of wall representing the typical chimneys of the Algarve region.
In the lounge room, you will find tones of aniseed, while the dining room set in green is brightened by one wall covered in warm coloured ceramics. Even the satellite-connected TV melds into the background with ease.
In the bedrooms, the owner has drawn from a palette of blazing red and royal blue.
The red room features a large 160cm double bed, as well as an office area with wireless internet and a dressing room. The blue room has two single beds. The bathroom has been simply but elegantly decorated in brown tones and boasts a very comfortable shower-bath.
The kitchen has been designed with space and elegance in mind. The cooking area has been carefully inserted into what was once the old chimney in perfect harmony with the whole design.
For winter, the apartment has electric heating in every room.
