Art Deco furniture and a beautiful garden to enjoy the sun

Located at a 10 minutes walk from the Cascais train station, from the center and from the small beaches of this lovely little town, the apartment Buganvilia has been completely refurbished by its owner. All the art deco furniture was carefully re upholstered. In the blink of an eye you will be taken off to the 20s, an old time record-player with 45s and 33s, and a 70s classic radio as well as an old tennis racket are some of the interior decor props. You will spend a great vacation here, enjoying your private garden, the beach and the trips to Lisbon, just ½ hour train ride away.

The surroundings of the apartment:

The Estoril coast, from Oeiras to Cascais is composed of various coves with nice sand beaches in Carcavelos, Parede or Estoril, all good for water sports and in particular for surfing. Even though the water is very fresh in all seasons, you will enjoy living by this coast, swimming or sunbathing on the beaches, walking on the coast trail or even shopping in Cascais. Besides its lovely situation, the fishing village of Cascais has become, in just a few years, an elegant shopping area with many fashion boutiques and nice restaurants. Cultural life is not forgotten, Cascais, the Estoril’s casino and a few local Summer Jazz festivals have good entertainment programming for your pleasure.
To stay in Cascais, we recommend you have a car, but a train service is also available between Cascais and Lisbon.

The apartment:

The Buganvilia apartment, with an overall area of 100 m², can accommodate up to 6 people. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, all very quiet and with storage space, where everyone will find themselves comfortable. The main bedroom has a double bed and overlooks the garden, the second bedroom has two single beds and the last room has bunk beds, therefore probably more appropriate for children. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath and the other one with a shower.

In the living/dining room which looks towards the garden, there is a beautiful working fireplace perfect for colder evenings. A very old buffet like shelf holds some beautiful old china, the 70s record player and the radio, both in perfect condition. In the kitchen you will find all the necessary appliances to prepare your meals. And finally, the garden, with an outdoors lunch table, a hammock swinging between two trees for those relaxing moments, all enclosed so that if you are traveling with children they can play safely.

If what you want is to enjoy the great outdoors and the beaches, you can go on foot to the coves in the Cascais center or push a little further up to Guincho, with its large untouched beaches, only minutes away by car or bicycle.

For all trips to the Lisbon region or a longer vacation, the Buganvilia apartment is the ideal choice for those seeking sun, sea ,and tranquility.

Linha de Cascais

Cultural life around is not forgotten, Cascais, the Estoril’s casino and a few local Summer Jazz festivals have good entertainment programming for your pleasure. One of the major asset of the place is its proximity of the beach you can easily access by foot. A train station is very close and to go to Lisbon a train is leaving every 20 minutes and will drop you inside the city in 30 minutes.
