The Terrace Palmeira apartment has all the comfort you could wish for in a dream holiday: two bedrooms, a roof-top deck terrace and an ideal location in the centre of Lisbon. You will enjoy going out to the Principe Real and being so close to Bairro Alto and Chiado, the famous places for nightlife or shopping, and at the same time being next to the Praça das Flores and the peace filled Principe Real garden.

This typical 19th century building, totally renovated, has maintained the original atmosphere and the straight wooden stairs that will take you up to the 3rd floor

where the Terraço Palmeira is located. It is next to the Praça das Flores, an area well-known for its restaurants, and only a few hundred metres away from some of the most famous monuments, shopping areas and viewpoints of Lisbon.

The apartment, with a south-facing orientation, is full of natural light and offers stunning views over the city. It has been newly decorated in a modern style and can easily accommodate two couples or a small group of friends, as it has two separate bedrooms. Both bedrooms have a double bed, wardrobes, and bedside tables. One of the bedrooms has direct access to the terrace.

The dining/living room is very comfortable and sunny and has access to the deck terrace. It features a large sofa, a TV LCD set with cable and a dining area with a round dining table that seats 4. The separate kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances and ready for even the most experienced chefs. Unless, of course, you prefer going out to dinner to one of the many nearby restaurants.

The bathroom has been completely renovated in a modern style with stylish waxed concrete surfaces.

The apartment comes with electrical heaters for the winter period which is always very mild in Lisbon.

Staying in such an ideally located apartment, with your own terrace, is exactly what you would wish for your holidays in Lisbon!

Principe Real

Principe Real, the historical heart of the city; if you want to have a feel of the Lisbon life with everything at walking distance, choose Principe Real neighbourhood. This area is ideally located on the top of a hill which Lisbon is so famous for, with superb views of the city and the Tagus river. Principe Real is well-known for its delicious garden with exotic and rare trees, but also a café under the branches of a giant tree next to a bio market every Saturday morning. You are a couple of streets away from Bairro Alto where you’ll find hundreds of restaurants and bars at night. If you pass by the São Pedro de Alcantara viewpoint, you can also reach easily the shopping areas of Chiado or Rossio by street elevator. If you go down the other way, you’ll discover typical old streets leading to São Bento Parliament House where you find any type of restaurants and typical Portuguese antiques shops. In this neighbourhood, many restaurants, concept stores, chic boutiques and antiques shops will delight you.

    Bonne situation géographique, terrasse agréable. Drap et serviettes fournies. appartement moderne propre

    The location was stunning first of all. The apartment itself was on the top floor and had two decent size double rooms (watch your head on the sloping ceiling in one room), lovely new kitchen, grand shower, lovely sitting room and amazing top deck overlooking the area. This is where we spent a lot of our time actually. The place is very quiet (and you may get shouted at by the old lady and her dog as you come in at 5am on Sunday morning) and is full of local charm!     The apartment was light and airy, with French doors opening onto the most amazing rooftop terrace, with table, chairs and umbrella, with fantastic views - brilliant to sit out there in the evenings with a glass of wine. It was mainly very quiet ( except for occasional spates of dogs barking!) Very modern , well-equipped kitchen,comfortable beds with clean crisp cotton sheets. Beautifully presented all round. Close to Principe Real, a delightful walk to Bairro Alto and not far to get on the No 28 tram. A small supermarket, fruit/veg , restaurants close by. Miranda, Australia 28 November 2010
