The light of Lisbon in a simple and modern decor
The light of Lisbon is so renowned in the photography industry ! In Sao Vicente, this aspect is at its peak, the whole apartment is flooded with light with astonishing views over the river bay and the Alfama’s rooftops. Located inside Alfama, there are plenty of small, local shops for your grocery shopping and for transportation use the metro and buses from the Santa Apolonia Station down the street.
The apartment:
The Sao Vicente 1 is located on the 3rd floor without elevator of a typical building in the traditional old district of Alfama. With an area of 65m2 it can easily accommodate 6 persons in a bedroom with a large double bed, a second one with two single beds and with a sofa bed for 2 additional persons. The living room, with views to the Tagus River and the city rooftops, and featuring a large double sofa and a big screen TV with cable channels, a stereo, will ensure many pleasant moments after your long excursions in the steep streets of the city.
The lovely bathroom with shower and toilet has been completely renovated.
A fully equipped kitchen is also availabl where you can enjoy your meal unless you decide to have dinner outside in one of the many restaurants and fado houses in the neighbourhood.
The apartment is also connected to Internet (cable and WiFi) and has individual electric heaters for winter.
Be ready for a pleasant stay in a relaxing atmosphere in a modern environment while in the heart of the oldest part of Lisbon.

Alfama
If you come to Lisbon, you cannot miss Alfama, one of the most picturesque and historical medieval neighborhood, a mesh of small tiny streets, cul-de-sacs and stone stairs. Here lives a mixed population, people of all ages, “true” lisboners or lost tourists come to visit or to listen Fado. Like in many other places in Lisbon, you’ll find here also some of the most spectacular viewpoints of the Tagus river and the city. Here you can still find various forms of traditional commerce, as well as nice quaint little restaurants and bars. From the apartment you can walk to the majority of the most popular sightseeing destinations, such as the “Castelo de S. Jorge” the “Sé” or the “Baixa Pombalina”. For transportation, walk, or go down to Santa Apolónia the main train station and its recently opened metro station, or use the popular tram n°28 that zigzags through Alfama and pursues its trip up and down the hills of Lisbon. Although of restricted access by car, there are several parking facilities nearby.

keuken minimaal ingericht, botte messen, weinig pannen, geen soepopscheplepel niet overal schoon (bv.boven op rekje waar lepels aanhingen)
