Just underneath the São Jorge Castle

Choose this three bedroom apartment, located just above the Mouraria and at the foot of the São Jorge Castle, the most visited monument in Portugal. You are also next to many cafes and restaurants and if you take the stairs around the corner you reach the Baixa and the main points of interest for tourists.

The apartment:

The Achada apartment is on the first floor of a house situated on the street surrounding the São Jorge Castle. It benefits from superb views of the city and the Chiado and is very quiet as cars are not allowed in this area.

The main room is at the same time a living room and a dining room. The kitchen is traditional with a stone fireplace. Three bedrooms are available for a total capacity of 5, two bedrooms with double beds and one with a single bed. The bathroom with a bath has generous dimensions.

The apartment is within a car-restricted area where only taxis and residents' cars can enter. If you come by car you will only have a foot access and must park your car outside the area.

An ideal accommodation for a family or a group of friends seeking to relax and so close to everything in Lisbon.

The apartment was great, spacious, clean, quiet, well equiped with beautiful view of the area. central location close to public transportation. Mauro was very helpful and very flexible with check in and check out hours. Great apartment, we will definitely come back

The apartment was very spacious though the main bed was so uncomfortable we had to sleep in the smaller room which also had a much smaller bed. All the conveniences were good, washing machine, etc. and all the necessary detergents, etc. were also provided. The Castello area is only a short distance to the downtown area and downhill, but coming back to the apartment is uphill all the way with the trams/buses not coming particularly close to the apartment. The apartment was very spacious and main bedroom was huge (pity about the bed). It has been renovated pretty well. The area is fairly quiet at night time too.
The main bed was very hard and uncomfortable but apart from that everything else was very good.

Appart' très propre, moderne et équipé parfaitement. Literie/serviettes, tout y était. Pas de caution à laisser, impensable en France ! Et un départ en toute simplicité en laissant les clés sur la table, idéal pour un départ tôt. Appart' dans un coin idéal, sur les heuteurs, très calme (mais il faut de bonne jambes pour y monter :) )Mauro à notre disposition sans problèmes en cas de besoin. que du bonheur

Die Ausstattung der Küche; es war praktisch alles notwendige vorhanden. Die Geräumigkeit der Wohnung; wir haben uns mit drei Erwachsenen sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Hilfsbereitschaft und Freundlichkeit der Kontaktperson, eine seltene Erfahrung.
Die Wohnung liegt in einem hoch gelegenen Stadtviertel; für alte Menschen (ich bin 74 Jahre alt) ist das ein wenig schwierig. Die Sicherheit in der Strassenbahn (Linien 28 und 12). Ich bin drei Stunden nach Ankunft bereits bestohlen worden. Ich habe zwei weitere Male Diebstahlversuche in der Bahn beobachtet.
