This typical 19th century building has kept its atmosphere with straight wooden stairs climbing to the 4th floor where the Santa Catarina apartment is located. But the views you’ve got of the city roofs towards the 25th April bridge make it worth the effort ! On the other side of the apartment, the bedroom has a balcony over a quiet street without car traffic. All the area is under traffic restrictions, only residents and taxis are permitted to enter, if you come by car, be aware that you will need to park it in a public carpark outside the zone.

The flat is sunny during the afternoon with the opportunity to admire the beautiful sunset. It has been recently redecorated in modern style with elegant wallpapers in fashionable tones and colours. Easily accommodating a couple, you can use the separate bedroom in a two single bed or in a large double bed arrangement, there is also a dressing table and a nice, if small, bathroom with a shower.

The main room is at the same time a dining room and a pleasant living room with a comfortable sofa in front of an LCD TV with all cable channels. The kitchen corner is fully equipped and awaits experienced chefs, unless you prefer going out for dinner in one of the many nearby restaurants.

The apartment comes with heat for the winter period which is always very mild in Lisbon.

Whether you are in Lisbon for business or vacation the Santa Catarina apartment with its excellent location, is also a very good starting point to experience the nightlife of Bairro Alto, while hidden away in this peaceful and residential area. In other words a great choice for your visit.
