The Gulbenkian apartment is a charming three bedroom apartment located in the modern part of Lisbon. Hidden in the back, you will love its secret garden with fruit trees and a large space to sunbath ! A few blocks away from the Eduardo VII Park, the Corte Inglès Shopping mall but also across the street from the Gulbenkian Museum, its location allows a large choice of visits around the area. The metro station (Line Vermelha) is just at the corner and gives an easy connection to the historical centre.

The apartment:

The Gulbenkian building stands in a quiet street next to the Gulbenkian garden and is one of those early 20 century buildings entirely remodelled with good taste. This elegant 110sqm apartment can comfortably accommodate a large family of up to six people in three nicely decorated bedrooms. The backyard garden offers a nice sunny terrace and a lawn with lemon trees, many other fruit trees and flowers, a lovely place to relax which is shared with the owner of the apartment who lives next door.

When entering the apartment, you have access to two large and stylish bedrooms with double bed and a wardrobes. Another bedroom by the street can be arranged with either one or two single beds. The main bathroom, nicely restored in green tiles is spacious with a large bathtub. A second bathroom is also available and has an modern shower designed in red tile.

The walls of the living room are decorated with the sketches of a famous Portuguese cartoonist, Stuart. At the disposal of guests is a large sofa bed, a LCD TV plus a DVD. At one end of the room, the dining room opens onto the garden through large windows and has direct access to the terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances and awaits chefs of all levels.

The apartment is fully air conditioned for the summer and winter (heat) even though temperatures always remain mild in Lisbon in winter.
The owner is also ready to provide you additional services on demand : babysitting, cleaning, housemade meals, bookings in restaurants and casas de Fado.
