A peaceful apartment in the newly revitalised district of Santos
A short distance from the Tagus river, the Janelas Verdes apartment is a nice apartment overlooking a typical Santos neighbourhood square which is becoming the Design district of Lisbon with many contemporary decoration stores, art galleries, restaurants and hype night-clubs. Typical tramways pass by in the next street and lead you to Estrela, Lapa or Praça do Comercio, other major tourist places in the city are a short journey away.
The apartment:
This flat is a few steps away from the popular district of Madragoa, next to the Palacetes of the Janelas Verdes street. It will be the starting point for your nightlife in Santos, the new fashionable place for young lisboners.
On the 2nd floor (no elevator) of a classical end of 19th century building, the Janelas Verdes apartment is spacious and very bright, ideal to accommodate a family of four or two couples or friends. The first bedroom by the street has a double bed and the other one overlooking the garden at the back has twin beds. For your comfort, there is a lovely all-white bathroom with a bathtub and fresh towels and a well equipped kitchen which has maintained it’s original stone fireplace.
The living room windows open onto the trees and flowers of the Santos-o-Velho church square, and the oldish n°25 tramway passes by the back. Relax after a long day of sightseeing on the large and comfortable sofa, watching satellite TV on the plasma TV set or a DVD, or listening to a music CD ! ADSL internet is also available in the apartment.
Whether you are in Lisbon for leisure or business, the Santos apartment will offer you the best of comfort for your stay, a superb location for your walkabouts in Lisbon.

Santos
Between Santos and Lapa, come and have a taste of the Lisbon life in this lower part of the city by the Tagus river. Enjoy the calm of this residential area, at a walking distance of the typical and popular streets of Madragoa. You will both appreciate the charm of the cobbled streets of Santos and the immediate proximity of all the centres of interest of the Portuguese capital city. The Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga (National Museum of Ancient Art) is only a few hundred meters away and you are 6 stops by tram or bus away to Praça do Comercio, five minute walk to the river front. Santos is the new « Design » district of the city and is known for its multi-personality environments where in the same day you can be at the park, visit an Art Gallery, enjoy a nice meal by the river and dance all night in one of the many bars and night-clubs. Here the charming yellow tramways N°25 are still circulating. Many restaurants, cafés and Portuguese shops around and you can even experiment the Market of Ribeira a few minutes away, and buy there fresh fish debarked from Setubal or gorgeous fruits and vegetables.

La ubicación.
El salón era muy fashion pero no muy cómodo. El cuarto de baño era un poco básico, sin mampara de baño. El cuarto de las 2 camas, no debería ser sólo para niños.
