Located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the Old Belem, you are 50 metres away from the wellknown pastry shop where people queue up to taste the famous Pasteis de Belem, but also near the Monastery of Jeronimos, the Palace of the Presidency and the Belem Tower. Around you, you have lots of potential visits, restaurants, shops and even the Cultural Center of Belem, a must for Culture in Lisbon. To get to the city center is very easy on the No. 15 streetcar just across the main street !

Belem is one of the most sought after areas by tourists visiting Lisbon. Here many monuments can be found, from the Monastery of Jeronimos, through the Tower of Belem, the museum of Carosses, the Palace of the Presidency, the Museum of the Marine, and the monument of discoveries. Belem is also a cultural centre highly recommended as the Centro Cultural de Belem CCB has hosted the Museo Colecção Berardo since 2007, a magnificent private collection of contemporary art and another large hall with a very interesting progam.


The apartment:

You live in a tiny fisherman’s house recalling the days when the banks of the Tagus river came to the foot of the Monastery of Jeronimos. Now large gardens separate you from the edges of the Tagus and the place is bustling with tourists visiting the surrounding area. Completely redesigned and refurbished in a modern style this home has many charms on its two levels.

On the ground floor lies the main room that serves as reception, dining room and kitchen. The bathroom with a large shower all in slate tiles is also very welcoming. On the first floor, a spacious room is fitted with a large double bed and numerous cupboards. It has a large plasma television and air conditioning. Nothing is missing in this small pied-à-terre in Belem even a bed for two people in the main room if necessary.
In the apartment there is also an electric heater for the winter period where temperatures are very mild.

For a sightseeing tour of Lisbon, the location of the apartment Belem is ideal but will also ensure you first place in the queue to buy your Pasteis de Belem!
