Stay at this pleasant one bedroom apartment located in a typical house of Alfama, and experience the life of a city district which has changed little since the 17th century. Cosy and calm, it will be the perfect starting point for your tourist activities in Lisbon.

If you come to Lisbon, you cannot miss Alfama, one of the most picturesque and historical medieval neighborhoods, a mesh of small tiny streets, cul-de-sacs and stone stairs. Here you will find a mixed population, people of all ages, “true” lisboners or lost tourists come to visit or to listen to Fado. Since it is mostly pedestrian, it is a quiet neighborhood that keeps its old world charm. As in many other places in Lisbon, you’ll find some of the most spectacular viewpoints of the Tagus river and the city. You can still find various forms of traditional commerce, as well as nice quaint little restaurants and bars. From the apartment you can walk to the majority of the most popular sightseeing destinations, such as the “Castelo de S. Jorge” the “Sé” or the “Baixa Pombalina”. For transportation, walk, or go down to Praça do Comercio and its recently opened metro station, or use the popular tram n°28 that zigzags through Alfama and pursues its trip up and down the hills of Lisbon. Although car access is difficult, there are several parking facilities nearby.

The apartment:



The Alfama apartment is located on the second floor of an old building, in this picturesque district of the capital next to the Tagus river, the famous casa dos Bicos (a house with a remarkable stone frontage) and also close to the Sé Cathedral.

The accomodation is a 65m2 renovated one bedroom apartment decorated with simplicity and comfort. With a double bed in the bedroom and a large sofa bed in the living room, it has capacity for a maximum of 4 persons. It also features satellite TV with DVD player, a fully equipped and large kitchen and a bathroom with bath. In wintertime it is heated with electric space heaters.

A lovely place to stay in an historical environment just a few steps of the Praça do Comercio !

    Lo primero, hablar un poco del apartamento, RECOMENDABLE 100%, esta muy cerca de la plaza del comercio, a poco minutos andando del centro y esta ubicado en el barrio del alfama(uno de los mas emblematicos de la ciudad), Lisboa es una ciudad FANTASTICA y todos los lisboetas son ENCANTADORES, Mauro, es un chico encantandor y que todas las recomendaciones que os pueda dar seran PERFECTAS, sin duda alguna, si teneis dudas, este es un apartamento que esta completamente ajustado la calidad del mismo con lo que vas a pagar, volvere a lisboa y seguramente lo haga a este mismo sitio... nosotros eramos 2 personas y estuvimos muy comodos, pero pueden incluso estar 4 sin ningun problema, en cuanto a precios de restaurantes y todo eso, deciros, que a pesar de estar pagando un 23% de iva, Lisboa en lineas generales es una ciudad barata y accesible para todo tipo de publico...     Esta en un lugar muy tradicional y tipico, y aunque por fuera parece un lugar muy austero, por dentro es muy comodo totalmente equipado con todo lo necesario. Realmente un lugar muy confortable y recomendable. La persona que nos recibio fue extremandamente amable y nos recibio temprano a pesar de que en el sitio dice que el check in es a las 12pm
