Next to the Parliament and the prime minister’s official residence, the Estrela Apartment also benefits of the quietness of the garden of Estrela and its Basilica. Enjoy the comfort of a finely decorated house of very classical but elegant style. Many other points of interest of the city, the Bairro Alto or Chiado are only 10 minutes away with a tramway 28 ride, unless you decide to pursue the ride until Castelo São Jorge or Alfama.
The area surrounding the apartment:
If you want to have a feel of the Lisbon life choose this neighbourhood located on hills overlooking the city and next to Lapa. Enjoy the calm of the residential area of Estrela, famous for its Basilica and a very pleasant luxuriant garden. Here you are also walking distance of Santos, another nightlife sector of the capital, and a hundred meters away from the São Bento Parliament, the most famous fado singer Amalia´s Museum House and the antique shops of São Bento Street. You will both appreciate the calm of Estrela and the immediate proximity of all the centres of interest of the Portuguese capital and many types of restaurants or typical shops. The “Rato” underground station is about 350 metres or 5 minutes walk. This district is well connected to the rest of the city via buses or the tramway 28 in less than a quarter of an hour.

This entire one bedroom flat has been renovated and modernised while keeping its original attributes.
