The magnificient Rossio train station of Manuelin style will be your linking point to Sintra, after a 45 min journey you can spend a day visiting the Sintra area, its royal castles and parks. If you simply look for restaurantes, bars, night clubs or fado houses, you only have to climb the stairs, or if you prefer take the Gloria Funicular or even the 19th century Eiffel elevator to the top of the hill.

Located on the 1st floor of a late 19th century building, this bright flat offers wonderful views over the Baixa, and the São Jorge Castle. Recently renovated, it is decorated in a classical style with a mix of antiques and modern furniture.

The apartment is perfect for a couple using the separate bedroom or a small group of friends using also the sofa bed (140cm) in the living room. The bedroom comes with 2 separate single beds that when put together provides a double bed (160cm), a very elegant antique drawer with an antique swing mirror. The bathroom with its tiles is very convenient and has a large shower.

The living room is of original shape with two separate parts, on one side a sofa and TV area with a very nice view over the city, the other side features a sofa bed. The spacious kitchen with a dining corner and its old and rustic roundtable is fully equipped and will allow you to cook your own meals. Unless you prefer going out for dinner in one of the many typical restaurants nearby.
In the Escadinhas flat, you can use the air conditioning in the summer and also in winter although temperatures are always very mild in winter.
