Bairro Alto is the best known part of Lisbon. Everybody has heard or read of this strange area, located at the top of one of the seven hills of Lisbon. Forming a grid of narrow streets, the part of the city is famous for being a nightlife hot spot, starting its activity early with shopping in Portuguese fashion designers shops and galleries, continuing with any type of restaurants and finally at dark with numerous bars, discotecas or Fado houses full of people until the following morning. The rest of Lisbon is also so close ! The Bairro Alto has a very central position, it is then so easy to walk to Chiado and go downstairs to Rossio and Baixa or with the Gloria funicular.

The apartment:

The house is noble like they used to build them in the XIXth century with large spaces, old wooden floors and ceilings but it also has its touch of modernism with a lift which after a few steps takes you to the 4th floor, floor of the Panoramico apartment.

This apartment has plenty of the picturesque reckons of an under-the-roofs floor. Its top situation gives the advantage of having a terrace overlooking all the city underneath and of keeping you away of Bairro Alto’s noises. From the vast living room, you won’t get tired of admiring spectacular views through the large windows. Comfortable and bright, it is decorated with large format paintings, a well stocked library, a large TV offering a large range of cable channels and a fireplace. The kitchen is next door, with space for those who prefer cooking at home rather than going out to a nearby restaurant downstairs.
The accommodation is for 4 people and has two bedrooms, each with a double bed. Even the large bathroom with orange tiles is open towards the city. If you need more capacity, rent the Vista Tejo studio next door. For summer and winter, the living room is equipped with air conditioned, other rooms have heating equipments. The apartment is also equipped with wireless internet.
