Here you are in the very heart of Lisbon, between the Baixa Pombalina and the São Jorge Castle, the most visited monument in Portugal. From the Largo da Rosa Apartment, and whichever direction you take, you’ll find History, good restaurants and monuments to visit in the city.
The apartment:
The Largo da Rosa apartment is situated right in the middle of those stairs coming form the Baixa and going up to the castle São Jorge. The duplex flat is on the 2nd floor and has been completely remodelled to offer the best modern comfort inside this small 17th century house.
The apartment is warmly decorated, on the walls : the paintings by the owner himself. Sit on the banks by the windows and enjoy the views over the neighbour’s roofs.
The living room is bright and large with a kitchen corner, fully equipped with modern appliances and a shower bathroom.
A central stair leads you to the upper level and its bedroom under the roof, with two single beds and a large modern bathroom with tub. There is accommodation for a party of 2 in this charming pied-à-terre hidden in the streets of old Lisbon.
The apartement is within a car-restricted area. If you come by car you will only have a foot access and must park your car outside the area.

Castelo
The neighborhood of Costa do Castelo features some of the most spectacular viewpoints of Lisbon. If you simply stroll around for a quick 30 minute walk, you will have views over most of the city and the Tagus river. Should you go up to the terraces of the São Jorge Castle, Lisbon will lie underneath at your feet. From here, turn towards the ocean and spend hours just watching the perfect geometry of the Baixa Pombalina. The Miradouro of Santa Luzia, just in front of Largo das Portas do Sol is only a few hundreds of meters away, so is the sector of Alfama in its vicinity of the Tagus. In the Baixa, a 5 minute walk from here, you’ll find a very busy shopping area where typical portuguese shops stand next to those with the newest brands of the market.

Ich war sehr angenehm überrascht über die freundliche, unkomplizierte Betreuung vor Ort und die wirklich sehr schöne, gut gelegene und ruhige Wohnung! Ich habe die Wohnung bereits weiterempfohlen. Mir ist allerdings aufgefallen, dass es anscheinend Termiten o. ä. im Holzgebälk gibt - sowohl in der unteren als auch oberen Etage, die anscheinend recht schnell und unablässig das Holz zerfressen (man kann es hören und sehen). Sie sollten vielleicht den Eigentümer informieren, um Abhilfe zu schaffen. Beste Grüße, Jutta Winter
Ich denke, im Winter kann man die Wohnung nicht nutzen, da sie dann zu kalt ist. Es war bereits jetzt recht kalt.

Très bel appartement sur 2 étages avec beaucoup de cachet. Nous avons profité de la petite collection de disque du propriétaire pour écouter la traditionnelle musique; le fado en dégustant notre petit verre de vin du pays. De plus, les tableaux privés du propriétaire ajoute une beauté exceptionnelle à l'appartement.

Die Lage und Ausstattung der Wohnung sind perfekt. In der Umgebung kann man günstig einkaufen und essen. Die Innenstadt und sämtliche öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind zu Fuß innerhalb von 5 Minuten erreichbar. Viel besser geht es nicht.

L'appartement est dans un charmant quartier populaire, et à deux pas de toutes les merveilles de Lisbonne. La déco est cosy, on se sent très vite "chez soi" dans ce petit nid douillet... L'acceuil a été pafait: ponctualité, petits conseils sur les choses à faire, lieux à voir...
