The Principe Real apartment is a superb two bedroom apartment ideally located in central Lisbon, so close to Bairro Alto and Chiado, famous places for shopping or nightlife but at the same time next to the peaceful garden of Principe Real.

Principe Real, the historical heart of the city; if you want to have a feel of the Lisbon life with everything at walking distance, choose Principe Real neighbourhood. This area is ideally located on the top of a hill which Lisbon is so famous for, with superb views of the city and the Tagus river. You are a couple of streets away from Bairro Alto where you’ll find restaurants and bars at night. If you pass by the São Pedro de Alcantara viewpoint, you can also reach easily the shopping areas of Chiado or Rossio by street elevator. If you go down the other way, you’ll discover typical old streets leading to São Bento Parliament House whereyou find any type of restaurants and typical Portuguese antiques shops.

This holiday apartment is next to the garden of Principe Real, hundred meters away from some of the most famous monuments, shopping areas and viewpoints of Lisbon.
Also a very good starting point to experience the nightlife of Bairro Alto, while hidden away in the Principe Real peaceful and residential area. In other words a great choice for your visit.
Conveniently located on the 1st floor of a late 19th century typical building, this sunny apartment offers charming views over Lisbon. It has been newly renovated and decorated with contemporary style.
The Principe Real apartment is perfect for a couple. The apartment features 2 bedrooms for a stay of 4 people, each room with a double bed. In one of the bedrooms, there are comfortable closets and safe with digital code for your valuables. A separate small attached room has a small desk charmingly overlooking a garden with views of old Lisbon.
The bathroom has also a window with views, simple and bright ready to welcome you.
The dining / living room is convenient with a large sofa ,LCD TV and Stereo for the use of guest, a small balcony over the street. In one corner of the living room a fully equipped open kitchen awaits experienced chefs with all new kitchen appliances, typical Portuguese plates and cookware. Unless you prefer going out for dinner in one of the many nearby restaurants.
The apartment comes with heat for the winter period which is always very mild in Lisbon.

Excellente situation géographique. L'emplacement de l'appartement, idéalement situé, permet de circuler aisément à pied dans la ville. Proximité appréciable d'un petit supermarché de type discount. Station de taxis à deux pas. L'appartement est très lumineux, et très calme. Le quartier est également très agréable et inspire la sécurité. Très bon rapport espace/prix, l'appartement est très spacieux pour deux personnes, et confortable pour quatre. Cuisine très bien équipée. L'accueil par un des membres de Friendly Rentals fut également agréable et riche en conseils. Bref, une adresse à retenir, et à recommander chaudement !
La fenêtre de la façade intérieure donnant sur une école (ou garderie? ), le bruit est un peu gênant si l'on souhaite travailler au petit bureau installé dans le dressing. Sinon, les deux points "négatifs" sont que la douche et le lavabo se vident assez lentement, et que des assiettes et verres supplémentaires seraient les bienvenus, car ça éviterait de laver plusieurs fois les mêmes couverts sur la journée. Vraiment très peu pour cet appartement qui nous a vraiment donné l'impression d'être chez nous le temps de notre séjour.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Principe Real Apartments; everything was spotlessly clean and there was plenty of room for two people. The sofa bed was very comfortable and huge! Denis was very very helpful and friendly, especially when we had trouble with the door, he came round immediately and had it fixed by the end of the day. Everyone was very accomodating with our early arrival and departure times. We were also provided with an introduction to the city and were recommended places to visit when we arrived. The location is excellent, perfect for ambling around the Barrio Alto, and in walking distance of good bars and restaurant.

The apartment was clean, spacious, and well-located for tourinf Lisbon. Carole gave me some good pointers on where to eat, locally, when I checked in.
The apartment is on the first floor. The back of the apartment -- including the bedroom -- overlooks the playground of a children's pre-school. From 8:00 to at least 18:00, the sounds of 30 or so pre-schoolers "playing" and generally making noise can be heard through the open window (it was in the 80's, the whole time I was there). The bathroom sink & shower (especially) drain very slowly.

Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral gelegen und doch sehr ruhig. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr schönes Badezimmer! Wir wurden freundlich und zuverlässig in Empfang genommen und verabschiedet, wir haben auch ihr sms bezüglich fraglichem Rückflug sehr geschätzt. Wir würden Sie jederzeit weiterempfehlen.
Von ihrer Seite her hat gar nichts gefehlt. Allgemein finden wir, dass Lissabon ein gewaltiges Verkehrsproblem hat und einem Fussgänger die Freude an einer Stadtbesichtigung dadurch sehr getrübt wird.
