During the last decade having more subway and tram stations in the city of Istanbul, reaching the best locations in the city became easier and comfortable for travellers. Being a very good example of the unique buildings of the area, this apartment building has been protected and renovated by a family who has taken over this mission from the person who originally owned the apartment, worked and lived in this area and did his best to create the best out of it.

This apartment is just a few steps to the subway station, from which you may travel to the old and the new city. Galata Tower is within a walking distance. Taksim Square and Beyoglu is in reach with one stop with the subway, or a 5 min walk. The Old City or the historical peninsula is only 10 minutes with the tramway. The location of the apartment is perfect close to public transportation, if only you want to use it in stead of walking and exploring the beautiful streets and sights of the area.

The apartment

Entering the building, you are welcomed by the original marble staircase and a large high wooden door to before you reach the elevator. The elevator is also renovated by protecting the original shape. The apartment is on the third floor.

Entering the apartment, you will come to a hallway, tiled with beautiful ceramic. From the hallway you will reach the living room, the 2 bedrooms, the bathroom and the kitchen.

The family who owns the apartment has renovated the apartment by protecting and keeping the original pieces like the high wooden indoors, ceramic and wooden floors. You will immediately be taken over by the Art Deco style of the apartment.

The living room in technical equipments is fully at your service with a flat tv, cable, free wi-fi, air conditioning. The high and large windows of the room giving enough light to enlighten the room and the hallway. From that windows you will enjoy watching the Galata Tower in the evenings. There is also a comfortable sofa bed which converts to a double bed for additional guests. The dining table is also situated in this room.

There is an independant kitchen which is fully equipped for storing, preparing food and making coffee etc. The kitchen tools and cutlery are enough to serve all your needs during your stay.

In both of the bedrooms there is a double bed and cabinets for clothes. An ironing table and iron is also at your service. Both rooms are having large windows to have good light during the day and fresh air. Bed linnens are provided for your stay.

The seperate bathroom is complete with its new sanitary equipments, walk in shower, cabinet, mirror etc. Fresh towels are provided during your stay.
