HOW TO BOOK YOUR APARTMENT ONLINE

Booking with Friendly Rentals is quick and easy. Simply follow these steps:

    Enter your destination, travel details and number of people in the blue search box at the top of our webpage. Use the “Bedrooms” filter if you want to specify the number of bedrooms and find your ideal apartment even faster.

    You’ll see a list of available apartments. Click “See apartment” to see the description, photos, location and price of the apartments you like the most.

    Once you’ve found your ideal apartment, click the green box marked “Book now”

    Enter your personal details in “Booking details”, read and accept our terms and conditions of use/privacy policy and click the green box “Book”.

    Enter your credit card details securely in “Payment details” to pay the deposit for your booking

    In a few seconds we’ll send a confirmation email if the payment has been successful.

    Within 24 hours (48 hours at weekends) you’ll receive an email with your booking reservation and instructions to follow on the day you arrive. This email will also include the address of your apartment, the name and phone number of your contact person and all the information on how to pay the outstanding amount and check in.

    If you want to make a last-minute booking for today or tomorrow—no problem! We’ll send you an immediate confirmation or return your deposit!

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Along with the confirmation of your booking, you’ll also receive information on your stay:

  • ARRIVAL

    • Where to check in and pick up the keys
      • Depending on the apartment in question, you might have to check in and pick up the keys at our office or at the apartment. The confirmation email you’ll receive at the end of the booking process contains exact instructions for the day you arrive.
    • How to pay the outstanding amount
      • It depends on the apartment. The confirmation email you’ll receive at the end of the booking process clearly sets out how you can pay the outstanding amount for your stay. Some apartments accept credit card and/or cash;others prefer cash.
    • When to pay the outstanding amount
      • The only destinations that require you to pay the outstanding amount before you arrive are New York and Rio de Janeiro. To check the payment conditions for our apartments in New York and Rio de Janeiro, go to the apartment page, where you’ll find all the relevant information under the “Description” tab, or contact our customer service team.
    • How to pay the returnable damage deposit
      • It depends on the apartment. The confirmation email you’ll receive at the end of the booking process clearly says how you can pay the damage deposit. Some apartments accept credit card and/or cash;others prefer cash. You can check the methods of payment directly online on the apartment page: if the “apartment details” include a credit card symbol, you can pay by card (Visa/MasterCard or American Express as specified on the webpage). If there is no credit card symbol, you have to pay the damage deposit in cash.
  • DEPARTURE

    • How to check out and return the keys
      • It depends on the destination and apartment. When you arrive, your contact person will tell you how to return the keys on the day you leave
    • Getting your damage deposit back
      • Once we’ve inspected the apartment, we’ll return your damage deposit in cash or by credit card, depending on how you paid it when you arrived.
