Charming apartment in a typical and unique town in Granada ideal to enjoy everything offered by Sierra Nevada
Monachil is situated only 8 km away from the capital and 30 km from the skiing slopes, which offers the opportunity to enjoy all the virtues of Granada while staying in a much more natural environment. Also enjoying the typical gastronomy of a mountain village in Andalusia.
Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase traditional crafts and enjoy various adventure activities in Sierra Nevada. Accessing landscapes of great interest such as The Cahorros, the Cortijuela, the Trevenque or Fuente del Hervidero, or if you prefer just seat and contemplate the Church de la Encarnacion, canonically erected in 1501. But besides the large list of possibilities the Sierra Nevada offers in the winter months there are also many activities offered during the rest of the year: hiking, biking or horseback riding, etc... Making this ski station one of the most attractive in whole Spain.
The apartment Benedetti is built in a small building adjoining the Church de la Encarnacion , giving it its own unique character. On the ground floor of the apartment you will find the living room with its fully equipped kitchenette , where restored elements of the church and the typical rustic Provençal style mixes with the modern design furniture used to decorate it.
The whole house has been completely rehabilitated, notice the large windows that allows an extraordinary stream of sunlight all throughout the apartment all day long.
In the first floor you will find the suite bedroom with its bathroom, from which you can access the magnificent terrace.

The landscape is dominated throughout by the presence of water—the river Monachil. It runs through the town, starting at Veleta peak and continues throughout the valley forming numerous springs, ponds, waterfalls and beautiful hidden corners for you to discover.
Noteworthy to mention is one of the most spectacular scenery of Sierra Nevada, the gorge of the Cahorros. It is located only 2 km away from Monachil town. Its steep cliffs, various stone tunnels, breath-taking waterfall or the famous over 55 feet long suspension bridge delight all hikers and adventurous hearts.
