Welcoming apartment set within a farm house, with a swimming pool, and nestled amongst the rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside at the threshold of Florence
The Bacco V apartment is one of five splendid apartments created within a historic farm house nestled in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, which has been recently refurbished and renovated for agro-tourism. The structure, built progressively over a period of almost five centuries, is surrounded by a large garden with swimming pool and fields lined with vines, characteristics which make this the perfect choice for families or groups wishing for a relaxing holiday.
Please note that the Bacco V apartment is located 10 km from Florence, therefore we recommend the use of a vehicle to discover the area and visit Florence itself. For those who would rather not have to use a car when on holiday, the area is also accessible via train from Florence's train station SMN (17 minute ride).
The apartment:
Restored with the aim of preserving the authentic character of the original structure, the Bacco V apartment has been created out of some of the oldest parts of the building. Originally these rooms served to store the small oak wine barrels in which the wine, made from the surrounding vineyards, was matured. The interior design brings together simplicity and elegance, while keeping alive the memory of rural Tuscan traditions. Romantic vaulted ceilings, stone walls, and terracotta floors highlight the natural beauty of the place.
The living-room has a relaxation area and a dining area. The relaxation area is furnished with a comfortable sofa, a coffee table and TV, while the dining area is furnished with a table and chairs and is framed by a welcoming, well equipped, and functional kitchen corner. The sleeping area has two romantic bedrooms, one double and one twin. The master bedroom is very spacious, with a wardrobe, a petite table and small armchairs, sofabed (which transforms into a double bed for the 5th guest), and has access to a private bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom has two single beds, while the second bathroom, simple and elegant in style, has a shower unit.
The Bacco V apartment comes with the added benefit of having a private outdoor space in front of the entrance, and this is furnished with a table and chairs and is ideal for al-fresco meals.
The apartment also offers access to a communal open air swimming pool, to be shared with the other four apartments on the estate, as well as independent heating, wireless Internet access, dishwasher and a BBQ.
Guests who stay in this apartment can also take advantage of the additional laundry and valet services, which are available upon request at an extra fee.
