The apartment:
Located on the 2nd floor of an ancient building with NO elevator (there are about 55 steps to reach the apartment), this fantastic two level apartment has recently undergone a total renovation to guarantee modern day amenities and efficiency.
On entering this apartment, you will find a very welcoming open floor plan which combines the living room with the kitchen area. This area comes with a double pull out sofa bed, a dining table with chairs and a plasma TV so the guests can sit back and relax between sightseeing bouts. Modern and functional, the kitchen is completely equipped to ensure the guests can prepare any kind of meal should they wish to. Next to the living room, a useful bathroom includes a shower unit.
On the second level, you will find the two bedrooms accessible from a white staircase. The master bedroom accommodates a double bed while a small second bedroom features a single bed. Next to the bedrooms, a stylish and modern bathroom offers a shower unit and fresh towels ready to use upon arrival.
The STRAVINSKY II apartment also includes air conditioning, autonomous heating and double glazed windows to provide the guests with the maximum level of comfort.

Santa Croce
Santa Croce is the eastern edge of the historical center along the Arno river and takes the name from the Florence’s pantheon and one of its most remarkable churches. This neighborhood provide a rare glimpse of workaday Florence – an area few tourist penetrate, with lively markets and tiny workshops .
In addition to the great Santa Croce church and its museum, the other main cultural attractions in this part of the city are the Bargello Palace, which house one of Italy’s most important museum , the Museo Horne, a pleasing collection of art treasures and the Casa Buonarroti, the former home of Michelangelo.
Piazza dei Ciompi is the venue of Mercato delle Pulci, the flea market where you can buy interesting items at modest cost. A short distance to the east, is the Mercato St. Ambrogio, the city centre’s main food market after San Lorenzo. Be aware that the stallholders bring their prices down in the last hour of trading!
You will also find the largest selection of shops, bars and restaurants here. These include the city’s three finest and most expensive restaurants – Cibreo, Pinchiorri and Alle Murate, but also a variety of good mid-price options. By night, this is the liveliest part of town and, with most of its streets pedestrianised and many of the buildings illuminated, the perfect venue for an after-dinner stroll.

The apartment was exactly like the picutres online. Our contact was quick to meet us at the apartment. We loved every minute of our stay in Florence and the apartment. Felice and his team were great. I highly recommend staying at the Stravinsky II.

Friendly and helpful greeting and leaving by all concerned. Bare minimum of kitchen utensils but everything we needed. Loved the flat itself and terrific location with everything in Florence within easy walking distance.

Very nice apartment. Very good and cosy furniture. Comfortable couch and beds. Nice bathrooms. We met two contactpersons (one at check-in and one at check-out) Both gentleman were very friendly, polite and helpfull. Everything was clean. Airconditioning works perfect.
