Splendid apartment constructed in an independent section of a farm house set within the Tuscan hills at the threshold of Florence

The Bacco I apartment is one of five splendid apartments created within a historic farm house nestled in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, which has been recently refurbished and renovated for agro-tourism. The structure, built progressively over a period of almost five centuries, is surrounded by a large garden with swimming pool and fields lined with vines, characteristics which make this the perfect choice for families or groups wishing for a relaxing holiday. Please note that the Bacco I apartment is located 10 km from Florence, therefore we recommend the use of a vehicle to discover the area and visit Florence itself. For those who would rather not have to use a car when on holiday, the area is also accessible via train from Florence's train station SMN (17 minute ride).

The apartment:

Refurbished while lovingly preserving the genuine soul of this splendid stone property, the Bacco I apartment has been constructed out of what used to be the hay barn, where the animal feed was stored during the wintertime. The interior design brings together simplicity and elegance, while keeping alive the memory of rural Tuscan traditions. Romantic wooden ceilings and terracotta flooring highlights the natural gracefulness of the building, ornamented by rustic and chic furnishings.

A large arched window welcomes guests and brightens up the whole of the ground floor room, which is perfectly divided up by a graceful brick archway, into dining area with an open-plan kitchen, table and chairs, and a living area with armchairs, a TV corner, and a comfortable sofa bed(that converts into a double bed for the 5th and 6th guest). A terracotta staircase leads up to the romantic sleeping area, where you shall find two bedrooms (one double and the other twin) featuring sloping rooves and with access to two en-suite bathrooms. The bathrooms are spacious, simple and refined in style and with a shower unit each. Both bedrooms have access to a terrace, the first is cosy and equipped with a small table and chairs, while the second is very large, with a beautiful view over the vineyard valley, and equipped with a table, chairs and sun-loungers. In the area in front of the living-room there is a wooden pergola which encloses a private area ready for al fresco meals.

The Bacco I apartment also offers access to a communal open air swimming pool, to be shared with the other four apartments on the estate, as well as independent heating, wireless Internet access, dishwasher and a BBQ.

Guests who stay in this apartment can also take advantage of the additional laundry and valet services, which are available upon request at an extra fee.
