On the 3rd floor of an ancient building without elevator, the ROSSINI I apartment is located, just few steps away from the famous San Lorenzo market , in one of the most characteristic and conveniently located neighborhoods in town.
This lovely apartment comprises of a welcoming and spaceful living room which includes a comfortable sofa bed, where the 3rd and 4th guest can sleep and a table with four chairs. This is a perfect place for guests to sit back and relax, after a day of city adventuring, while watching TV, listening to some music or planning visits for the following day. The open kitchen is new and modern and comes fully equipped so the guests can prepare any meal should they wish to
The bedroom of the ROSSINI I apartment offers two single beds and an ample wardrobe for guests’ belongings. The bathroom is fresh and simple in look, and comes with a shower unit as well as a washing machine. Bed linens and clean towels are all provided.
The whole apartment is also fitted with air conditioning (in all rooms), central heating, satellite TV and wireless internet to provide the guests with the maximum level of comfort.
The ROSSINI I is one of two apartments in this building; its sister apartment is ROSSINI II (located next door on the same floor). So it could be perfect for a family gathering or a group of friends (up to 9 people) looking to spend a quiet and quality filled break in Florence.

San Lorenzo
A few blocks from the train station and the Duomo lies the San Lorenzo district, the city’s main market area, with scores of stalls encircling a vast food hall. One of the most conveniently located neighborhoods in town, it will envelope you with its lively, vibrant and multicultural atmosphere. Ten minutes towards the Arno and you are right in the middle of town where there is the Duomo, the best shops, bars and clubs. Ten minutes walking towards the hills and you are in quiet area with local shops, the Fortezza del Basso, splendid example of Renaissance architecture, and the Giardino dei Semplici, Florence’s botanical garden.
The centerpiece of this Florence neighborhood is the Basilica di San Lorenzo, one of the largest churches in the city which contains works of Brunelleschi and Michelangelo. Attached to the church is another key sight: the Cappelle Medicee (Medici Chapels) where some members of the Medici family are buried. The Medici also accounts for the Palazzo Medici-Riccardi with its exquisite fresco-covered chapel.
In this area you can also find a wide choice of inexpensive cafes and restaurants thanks to the presence of the San Lorenzo market which provides a focus for cheap trattorias and bars aimed at shoppers and market traders.
