Empuriabrava
This marvellous town comprises more than 24 km of working canals, making it the biggest inland residential wharf in Europe. It is found right in the middle of Roses bay.
Empuriabrava is surrounded by beaches to the north and south. This, as well as the natural park created by the fenlands of the Muga River and a tendency towards houses and apartments with terraces and individual moorings, lends this village an incredible character and beauty.
Next to the attractive marina, with its numerous supermarkets, bars, restaurants, and beaches, you can find the famous Empuriabrava aerodrome. The magnificent meteorological conditions of this enclave of the Costa Brava have enabled thousands of Europeans to fly through the air for the first time: this is one of the top skydiving centres in the world.
