Cape Town is a great place to travel with kids – there is no reason why you cant combine a love of good food with wine with a family holiday, in a setting of great natural beauty, by means of a visit to the Cape. Swimming with fluffy South African penguins at Boulders beach is a remarkable experience. Penguins aside, this is a great place to spend the day at the beach with kids, with warm currents and sheltered conditions. Just past Simons town on the False Bay Coast, a short drive from Cape Town.
Your kids can race a 160cc Kart around a high-tech, well maintained 300 mindoor track. The younger ones can enjoy the same adrenalin rush in a 140cc junior cart.

The Ice Station at Grand Casino
This Olympic-sized ice rink will have the kids skating away and giggling for hours on end. For smaller children there is a mini-rink too. You can also find an amazing theme park at the casino that appeals to kids of all ages.

The Scratch Patch
