The Barceló apartment is situated in the heart of the Borne, which is the trendy, upbeat part of the Old Town in Barcelona. It is situated beside the Gothic quarter of Barcelona. This is the oldest part of the city and the site chosen by the Romans during the Augustus Empire (27 to 14 B.C.) to found a new colony. The Barrio Gotico contains a concentration of medieval Gothic buildings only a few blocks northeast of Las Ramblas. It is an enchanting labyrinth of streets linking with squares, where there are plenty of good bars, restaurants and lots of designer as well as artisan shops and boutiques to browse and wander around. There is also a large public park and zoo within two minutes' walk of the apartment where the spacious, verdant surroundings offers an antidote to the busy streets nearby.


The apartment:

The Barceló is a penthouse apartment located on the fifth floor of a magnificent building which has an elevator. There is a public car park within 30 metres. It is situated in El Borne, one of the most fashionable areas of Barcelona. Having been recently renovated in an open plan style, the whole flat is very bright and airy, with many windows throughout, giving the apartment sunlight all day long. There are two bright bedrooms with twin beds in each. These are done in a simple design. The bathroom has been tastefully done with a shower unit and a sink. The look is modern, clean and fresh. It comes with fresh towels ready for your use.

The kitchen, dining room and living room all share the same open plan space, which opens out directly onto the terrace. There is a lovely warm wooden floor throughout this area with the white washed original beams exposed in the ceiling above .
