Description - The Trafalgar Apartment
A perfect base for your stay in Barcelona.
The apartment is modern, comfortable and centrally located. It has been decorated tastefully and simply with a clean, modern look which creates a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere for you to sit back after a long day of exploring the surrounding medieval area in the heart of Barcelona.
The area surrounding the apartment:
The Trafalgar apartment is situated right in the centre of Barcelona, literally 5-7 minutes walk from the main Square or Placa called Placa Catalunya, the famous Las Ramblas, the old town or Gothic Quarter and Borne. The closest point of interest to the apartment is the Palau de la Musica which is possibly the most dazzling work of Modernista architecture present in Barcelona. This is located a mere 3-4 minute walk from the apartment building. Other areas of interest within walking distance from the apartment are the Liceu opera house, the Barcelona City Hall in Placa Jaume, the impressive Gothic Cathedral as well as the remains of the old Roman Walls, with many more treats from Barcelona's ancient and medieval past.
The apartment:
The Trafalgar apartment is located on the third floor of the building, with elevator!!! A bonus in Old Town of Barcelona. The apartment is a great place to stay during your visit to Barcelona.
This studio style apartment is open plan, and has lots of windows, giving lots of natural light to the whole apartment. It is very spacious and ideal for anyone wishing to be in the thick of things yet still enjoy some quiet time after many a busy day of sightseeing or shopping.
The bright living area is very pleasant, where the beautiful wooden floor, tasteful furniture, allows you to sit back and relax while enjoying the use of TV, DVD and Stereo. Next to this area is the dining area complete with dining table and chairs, again in a bright location. The kitchen area is separated from the living quarters by a Japanese style panelling. It is modern and is fully equipped to make your stay hassle free, with juicer, coffee maker, pots and pans, plates and cutlery, all ready for use upon arrival.
The bathroom has been tastefully done with a shower unit and his and hers sinks. The look is modern, clean and fresh looking. It comes with fresh towels ready for your use.
