The Portaferrissa I apartment is situated right around the corner from the famous and grandiose Gothic Cathedral in the most central and most famous part of Barcelona. Guests are literally minutes' walk from the main Square or Plaça called Plaça Catalunya, the famous Las Ramblas, the Gothic Quarter and the trendy El Borne. The area itself which surrounds the apartment is a body of pedestrianised interconnecting narrow cobble stoned streets where you can wander around aimlessly for hours imagining how it was back in medieval times. Other areas of interest within walking distance from the apartment are the famous Las Ramblas, the Liceu opera house, the Barcelona City Hall on Plaça Jaume, which is one block from the apartment as well as the remains of the old Roman Walls coupled with many more treats from Barcelona's ancient and medieval past.

The Portaferrissa I apartment is located in the very heart of the old city, making it an excellent choice for any visitor coming to Barcelona... the visitor only needs to step out of the apartment building in order to enjoy all this great city has to offer....

This great apartment has three bedrooms; the main bedroom is quite amazing; it comes with a double bed and and is an extremely spacious area. This bedroom has been divided into sleeping area and loung area solely for this bedroom, an area which is completely private from the rest of the apartment. This extra living space leads directly onto a great terrace.... The second and third bedrooms come with two single beds and in total this spacious apartment can accommodate up to 6 people. As can be seen from the photographs there is a great cot available for anyone who is travelling with a child.....

The apartment comes equipped with all the mod cons to ensure that the guest staying in the Portaferrissa apartment has a hassle free visit.... the guest can prepare meals in the kitchen if they should choose to and will find in the living area a table and chairs where they can sit and relax while eating; it is important to note that this apartment does not have a washing machine.

The living area is a great area to sit back in and relax; the guest can also take in the pleasant view that can be seen through the window or from the terrace which can also be accessed from this area...

There are two full bathrooms in this apartment, one comes with a bath/shower unit and the other with a shower and come equipped with fresh towels, ready for use upon arrival....

The kitchen is open and spacious and on a par with the rest of the apartment...
