This newly designed apartment located on 1st floor (NO ELEVATOR) with private terrace is located in the heart of the colourful Raval district, right next to the central tourist area of Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya.


The area surrounding the apartment :

The Costa apartment is located in the multi-ethnic, neighbourhood of the Raval, the westernmost area of the old town Ciutat Vella, is the district which has undergone one of the most radical transformations, through the creation of a central activities zone which takes us from the Drassanes to Plaça Universitat. The MACBA, the CCCB, and the Rambla del Raval... are key landmarks in the neighbourhood which complement the traditional activities of the Ramblas, the Liceu and the Boqueria market.

Be warned this is colourful multi-ethnic neighbourhood, while some holiday makers really enjoy this living experience others may prefer a more polished neighbourhood.

The apartment:

This spacious two bedroom apartment is located on the first floor (NO ELEVATOR) in a typical Catalan 19th century building along with the four other Costa apartments (Costa I, Costa II, Costa III, Costa IV). The apartment is modern and uniquely decorated and is dominated by the great mix of colour, high ceilings and matching large windows. Unusally this apartment also has a wonderful sunny outdoor terrace which is for the exclusive use of guests of this particular apartment. The terrace accomodates guests with comfortable outdoor teak furniture with sun shade umbrella for those bright sunny Barcelona days.

The two large bedrooms have beautiful clean en-suite bathrooms to accommodate all guests. One bedroom has a double bed while the second bedroom has two single beds which are configured in a double bed setup. Each bedroom is decorated in a fresh, colourful, elegant and simple style... the fantastic exposed wooden beams that are part of the ceilings add a wonderful feel of character and charm to this apartment.. each bedroom comes with wardrobe space for the guests belongings.

The living room is a large and spacious area where the combination of soft tones and comfortable furniture, allows you to sit back and relax while enjoying the use of TV and DVD player. There is a large comfortable pullout sofa bed which is used to accommodate parties of more than four persons staying in the apartment.

The kitchen in the apartment is small but perfectly formed! and fully equipped for your convenience. Appliances like blender, juicer, coffee maker and toaster give the guest a feeling of home. Pots and pans, plates and cutlery are all ready for use upon arrival. Bed linens and clean towels are all provided.
