Perfect for a couple, this modern and well planned studio apartment has all you need to explore the old city of Barcelona. Located between the old port of Barcelona and the Old Town, this apartment will be your safe haven from the madness of all day exploring in this wonderful town of Barcelona.
The area surrounding the apartment:
The Cezanne apartment is situated in between the old port of Barcelona or stylish Marina area and the Old Town of Barcelona. Ideally located and easy to find once you arrive in Barcelona the area surrounding the apartment is exactly where you want to be. The Borne is the more trendy, artisan and quieter area of the very touristic Old Town area. This area is a maze of interconnecting dark streets linking with squares, and there are plenty of cafés and bars. The apartment itself is just two blocks from the amazing gothic church of Santa Maria del Mar, near the Picasso Museum and the Cathedral.
The apartment:
The apartment building has been newly renovated in accordance with the local architecture and conserves the historic facade of the ancient gothic quarter. The impressive entrance displays the original exposed walls, slate tiled flooring and beautiful wood panelling. A brand new elevator has been installed to transport tired guests up to the third floor studio. The bedroom (which houses a large queen sized bed) and living room are all housed in the same large room. The kitchen has been cleverly sectioned off for more privacy. The entire apartment is designed tastefully with parquet wood flooring and splendid original paintings.
The kitchen has been newly installed and is fully equipped with vitroceramic counter tops, and all the commonplace items like oven, fridge, microwave, pots, pans, coffee machine, fridge etc. The bathroom comprises of a bath/shower unit and is stylishly decorated with mosaic tiling. The whole apartment is fitted with air conditioning (hot/cold) and guests can be entertained by the TV provided. All linens and towels are provided as well as an iron and ironing board.
